James and Mattie are some of the best at what they do. They are excellent at listening, troubleshooting, and explaining what’s going on so that you can understand. They offer dry needling, cupping, and so much more. Some of the issues I’ve had with back pain for years were resolved after only 4-6 weeks of treatment with James. These two are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Just as important, they are kind and encouraging to all their patients. Fully recommend Transforming Physical Therapy!

James did a wonderful job explaining exercises to me to help the pain in my ankle and foot as well as helping me build strength and balance. By the last appointment, my injured ankle was actually stronger than my other one! Fantastic team--everyone is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

I had struggled with a knot beside my shoulder blade and muscle tightness in my neck for years. It was always painful and uncomfortable and I was using pain relief cream daily. Eventually my arm began going numb and this is what prompted me to seek treatment. I saw both Mattie and James during my treatment and both were very knowledgeable and provided excellent care. However, James was my primary provider and he not only treated my symptoms but also helped me figure out the root cause. During every appointment James took his time to ask questions and talk to me about my symptoms and what was going on in my life that may be affecting/increasing my symptoms. It was very clear to me that he genuinely cared and he was listening. He always took time to answer my questions and help me identify possible solutions. During my treatment James effectively utilized dry needling, which was an absolute game changer for me, to provide me relief within days of the first treatment. Dry needling loosened the muscle in my back that had been tight for years when nothing else had worked. Within two months James was able to provide relief for my constant pain and remediate the numbness in my arm. I no longer have a need for pain relief cream. James and Transforming Physical Therapy & Wellness have made such a positive impact on my quality of life. If you are in need of physical therapy I cannot recommend Transforming Physical Therapy & Wellness and James enough!!
