Visited an uncle staying here. Was disappointed in what we saw! The facility is obviously short staffed. & not well maintained. After 30 min an aide finally answered my uncles call bell only to be told she needed to get a co worker & would be back in 5-10 min to assist. I timed it...literally 40 min after the aides came back to assist him. The building seemed run down and it looked like they started to repaint the room but only left patch jobs. I have worked in nursing homes & know this one can do better for their patients!!

My stay at Touchpoints was absolutely horrible. My medications were not always given to me on time, and I needed pain meds after having a recent knee and a hip surgery, too. Sometimes my meds were 3 hours late, another time 8 hours late, and another time I got one medication the next day. The late medications were a constant occurrence. I heard other patients crying for their meds, too. I was told that the pharmacy wasn’t delivering the meds on time. How could that be possible? When I asked for help, many nurses were very obnoxious and rude and not helpful at all. I was told they were busy, and they’d get to me when they could. Sometimes I waited for over an hour. For example, I developed a sore and itchy rash and wanted to speak to the head nurse about it. I had to wait 3 weeks in order to see her even though I requested to see her daily. There appeared to be a room across from me that was inhabited by a family. I heard both children and adults staying in this room even though the door was always kept closed. It all seemed secretive and very strange. This family left and within a weeks time, another family moved in. When I questioned this, I was moved down the hall to another room. I know all this because I was there! I hated staying at Touchpoints and I would not recommend Touchpoints to anyone. It was an awful and scary place to be in.

I would never place another loved one here again. This facility is dirty. The nurses use the bathroom without washing their hands. Attempted to care for.my loved one after this YUCK just disgusting. The nurses would not help My mom get dressed she did it all on her own...no one assisted her with showering again she did that on her own... My mom asked for tissue to blow her noise, she got a role of toilet paper. No check ins....6 hours would pass before someone came in. Dirty laundry remained on the floor for 4 days. The cleaning ppl cleaned around it. It took for days for someone to say "welcome to touch point" here's your welcoming packet. We fought for 3 days to have my mom transferred which we did the work the facility would not...we did their job for them!!! Never ever again!!!!!

If care anything at all about your loved ones you will NOT send them here! This place is very dirty and smells like dirty diapers. It’s at least 90 degrees in that place and is a cesspool of germs. The staff has no bedside manner for the patients nor the family. They do NOT care about the patients. My father went over a week without having his hair washed. They did not give him anything to drink for over 24 hours. Also if your family member is bleeding don’t expect them to come with a bandaid. I’m guessing you have to bring your own. This place needs to be investigated by the state and the board of health!!

Upon arrival from the hospital the whole place was dirty and at least 80 degrees everywhere and patients were screaming every two minutes. The first thing we heard from one of my grandmother's TWO roommates was "I can't live here anymore! I hate it here." Also, the space was the size of a small school bus with three beds stuffed in. We immediately wanted to transfer out but it took six hours for somebody to come to the room and tell us she was starting on the process. At which point we had already solved it ourselves with an outside facility and were about to leave. I asked three separate people if there was a fan we could bring into the room so she wouldn't pass out from the heat but I never heard anything back. 2/4 of the handicapped parking spaces were not plowed and the outside of the building was visibly neglected and dirty. Absolutely under no circumstances bring a loved one to this facility. It will be one of the most stressful and upsetting experiences you will ever have. I wish more than anything I could give zero stars.

They are very nice workers here. The building is in rough shape. My mom doesn't like the food. But when sometimes your sick you don't care what food is put in front of you. God help this place through the pandemic.

Just returned from visiting a family friend. This place is filthy.Sat in one of the lounge rooms, and there was a large spot of dried blood on the floor.Staff, including nurses aids, and nursing staff were rude, and very unprofessional. Patients rooms were dirty, dark, and overcrowded. The client i was visiting needed to use the bathroom and there call bell just went unanswered. When i went to the nurses station to ask for help the nurse told me she would find someone to help them. , another 30 minutes went by and i finally saw the Director of Nursing (Janet H)spoke to her about my issue and her response was ;I dont know whose here so i dont know who can help you :Really you dont know whose here.!A grievience report will surely be sent to the state, and this place needs to be inspected by the Health department. On a good note, i did find the kitchen staff polite and very helpful when requesting a drink for my friend.

Smells really bad like old urine. Landscaping needs to be done regularly. Staff seem nice even though they are clearly understaffed.
