First, I would like to say that my daughter enjoyed coming for her "play appointments." Mitch + Kelly with whom she interacted with were very nice to her. My concern with this office is the lack of similar 'treatment' plans or advice. My daughter was a mild-medium toe walker. I started intervention because she toe walked about 50% of the time. She was evaluated by Mitch & Mitch gave great information at the evaluation appointment. She was seen by Kelly weekly after. After each appointment, I asked Kelly what we could be doing at home to continue working with my daughter. She could never give any exercises or any extra information (but yet we came weekly for an hour & there wasn't anything I could be doing at home? - besides what I googled). My daughter's toe walking increased to the point that was how she was walking as if it were her normal gait. I asked Kelly if that were normal & she just kind of shrugged and said she didn't know why it was getting worse. She told me the next steps would be orthotics (my daughter is 3). She also asked me to buy my daughter new shoes. Totally fine - what style, is there a brand she would recommend? She gave no indication as to why new shoes were needed or style, brand? She just said I should try that. Our last appointment (before I stopped therapy) we saw Mitch. Mitch came to me after my daughter's appointment with concern. She told me upfront that my daughter's toe walking had gotten worse and she had been tripping and falling a lot during her appointment. I let her know I spoke with Kelly 3 weeks before & was concerned that it was continuing to get worse. I told her that Kelly asked me to get new shoes - I bought high tops - Mitch explained to me why high tops weaken ankle stability - which would've been nice to know. I told her about the orthotics & she explained to me why that should be the last resort. I spoke with our pediatrician and she agreed with Mitch & told me to get a second opinion. I took my daughter to another office. They gave me a list of activities to make therapy fun at home with my daughter & she's down to 10% after 2 appointment and home interaction. I should've listened to my instinct when during her third appointment I asked what I could be doing at home to continue working & Kelly couldn't come up with anything. So needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this office.

We came to TOTS for speech therapy after our daughter was late to talking. It initially seemed to be going well - her therapist came to daycare to work with her once a week. But after about 6 months, we had a teacher tell us the therapist was only spending about 20 minutes with her instead of the allotted 30. We gave them the benefit of the doubt but 2 months later another teacher told us that day's had been all of 10 minutes long and that they'd been getting shorter weekly. At this point we addressed with the therapist if we could do an evaluation and graduate. This took almost 2 months. At the end, the report we received showed they were using a 10 year old evaluation criteria - significantly more out of date than ASHA advises be used. Atleast we thought we were done, but we received bills over the next 4 months that that had random dates of therapy on them, appeared to have duplicate charges, and required us going back and forth multiple times (it took 2 weeks just for them to send us the first explanation) for an audit to be performed on our account and them to explain that although our bills said some dates, the money was applied to others and that's why those dates appeared on multiple bills. The whole experience was a mess in the end and if our kids need future therapy, TOTS will not be where we come. We really aren't sure at this point if our daughter benefitted at all or we just got lucky and she learned the skills on her own at a later pace than her peers.

My son has been going to TOTS for the better part of 10 years for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapyn and Speech Therapy. I wouldnt think of taking him anywhere else. All of the therapists have gone above and beyond with their treatment. They take personal interest in each of their kiddos. Wish I could give them more stars.
