TOTAL Physical Therapy

Had been dealing with back pain for nearly a decade and wasn't too hopeful about it ever improving. However, after a few months of treatment here I've noticed fairly significant improvement and feel much more positive about treatment overall. Every member of the team, from front desk to providers, has been very polite, knowledgeable, and caring. Overall, they've exceeded any expectations I had going into physical therapy. Really happy with my treatment and appreciate everything they do.

A little strange how it's set up. You only work with a true physical therapist once then you work a small amount with the PA assistant. Then the rest of the time you are told by the assistants assistant to do the exercises you were taught. I could have done those exercises at home instead of driving 30 min. If you are really getting good PT then I'd expect for someone to be working with me the whole time and not their assistant's assistants (if that makes sense). * Note: my PT here was in like 2017/18, so maybe things have changed, but I kinda doubt it.

have your health, spirit, and heart as top priorities. They have an in-depth knowledge of the health issues relating to your needs and build a program that will target everything you need to do, with encouragement, warmth, and caring. I'm extremely pleased with the staff, therapists, and the resources they have, Special thanks to the best team (Darla-Jaymie-Glen) I will gladly recommend Total Physical Therapy to anyone who asks.

Total physical therapy is amazing, Dr. Kate has helped my back and hip problems. Also other aides and staffs were very kind and helpful

Love this place! Everyone is so friendly and super knowledgeable. I have had occupational therapy at other places and it felt like they were just running me through the mill. Not here. These people actually care if I get better and it shows in their treatment. Whenever I have a question or am confused about how to do an exercise, the therapist takes the time to make sure I have it right and feel confident.. Thank you for all your help.

I thank God for leading me to get physical therapy services from Total Physical Therapy! Everybody is so loving, caring, and supportive. I don’t know where I would be without them. I rarely write reviews, only when I am impressed, which is not often. From day one when I called in to schedule my son's initial appointment, Coriane was very professional and nice on the phone. Since we started our therapy sessions, the customer service from the all the girls at the front desk to the PT/PTA crew in the back are above and beyond! Everyone is friendly and always with a smile! My son's therapist Robert Quan is knowledgeable, professional and attentive- Rob asks my son if the exercise is tolerable, provides active listening and explains things to my son. The PTAs are all great too especially the girls! To top things off, there is a $50 fee if you miss/cancel an appointment. Unfortunately my son's recovery has been a challenge and I cancelled some appointments. I received a bill in mail which I was expecting cause I signed a form that made me aware of this, I called billing and wow! Gina in billing was understanding with reasons why we cancelled and was very nice about it. Our experience has honestly been exceptional! Thank you for your service Total PT in El Cajon!
