TLC Active Rehab

I had CABG surgery and valve repair in November 2023. I was told by one of the Doctors there that I had A flutter after the first session mid January, he suggested I find a Cardiologist down there. He stated he didn't care for working with out of state doctors. The Physical therapists were great. After approximately 3 months 2X a week for sessions and having the heart monitor on, I didn't get any feedback about any arrithmas, even working out and asking therapists. I didn't get a cardiologist down there bc I already had 2 cardiologists and my GP in Michigan. On the last session I asked one of the Therapists if I get any documentation before I head back to Michigan, he said sure and gave me a summary of my improvements physically on the weight machines, I said anything for the heart doctors he said no, if there was anything, he would have given to me. When I got back to Michigan I saw my Cardiologists and was told I had A typical Aflutter, plus it looked like I had it quite a while, I told him I had it in January after the first session but nothing after that? He said that's hearsay and he likes data. I had my doctor ask for the data and all he got was the same summary sheet the therapist gave me on the physical improvements on the last day. .after many calls, v/M's etc. I finally got some of the data from the heart monitor and then the doctor there said I did have Aflutter, not just the first day? meanwhile I assumed I didn't have it except for the first time. Miscommunication was the excuse I was given. If I would have known the Aflutter was ongoing I would have had it addressed. Patients need feedback on information that the heart monitor is collecting. This is the reason for the low rating, I do want to reiterate the Physical Therapists there do a good job.

Great rehab facility.....terrific, caring staff. Everyone wants you to succeed. Best I've ever used.
