Thrive Medical of East Setauket

I had my first official visit with the staff of Thrive last night and I could not be happier. I saw Sarina the osteopath and I cannot say enough good things about her skill and patient care. She very precisely identified a large number of " knots " in my back muscles that were causing me pain. I don't know how she did it without the benefits of an MRI or CT scan but she did! She was so kind and pleasant during my session I am now a big fan of her great skill. I also saw the acupuncture specialist and I realize this form of care takes time to work but all I can say is I am in much less pain today than I was when I walked into Thrive yesterday and all without heavy medication or other nasty stuff! I also feel that the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. VERY HAPPY BEING A PATIENT OF THRIVE!!!

This place is the best! I’ve been coming here for a few years now since my other chiropractor’s office shut down, and I have had an amazing experience! All of the staff are friendly, and very accommodating. I’ve seen many different acupuncturists/massage therapists over the years, and they are very skilled and knowledgeable at their craft. This is the best place to turn to for my well-being. I am eternally grateful for everyone here!

Thrive is amazing, the staff is so knowledgeable and personable, they have helped me not only get back to work but tolerate daily tasks people take for granted until you’re hurt. Thrive has been a godsend to me! To have physical therapy, medical massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, u/s and trigger point treatment in the same location has been life changing. The staff is absolutely amazing. The kindness, professionalism, and expertise of each and every individual from the moment you walk in throughout your visit is unparalleled. As a nurse with ongoing medical issues, l have had my share of practitioners. There is no place like Thrive. It is by far the most comprehensive facility l have been to. Since finding Thrive I would never go anywhere else.

I used to go to different places for physical therapy , massage , Acupuncture and chiropractic care. It was rough managing all the appointments but necessary for me to manage my back pain without the need for medications or surgery. I switched to Thrive after my friend told me how you can get all the therapies at one place and how helpful he found it. I am very pleased with Getting all the services at one place . The staff is very organized, friendly and never keep me waiting . I love how the treatment team works together to help their patients . Best of all, the therapists are highly competent and beneficial to my overall health.

I want to recommend this place to anyone experiencing muscular skeletal pain. Francine, Melanie, and Karen have been instrumental in addressing my pain. Life changing. They were attentive and compassionate. Have to say, this is first place I've visited where they seem to care. I look forward to my next visit.

Thrive medical has been an amazing medical resource! Every time I go, all of the staff are always smiling and happy. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and they make you feel like family. The nurse Jacqueline is very knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares for her patients. The physical therapist Rommel is absolutely amazing, as well as his colleague Linda. He is very knowledgeable, and a genuinely nice person. The women who run the office, Erin, Chris and Franny are also sweet, kind, patient and treat everyone with the utmost respect. I could continue to go on about the other therapists but I would just be repeating myself. There is not one thing I don’t like about this office. I have never felt so comfortable while getting the medical care I need. Finding this office when doing a google search was nothing short of a miracle.

The thrive medical staff at East Setauket are all amazing. I have been going here for about 6 months and I’m so happy I found them. They take your pain seriously and everyone there really cares. All of the ladies at the front desk are amazing, helpful, patient, and extremely friendly. They’re very flexible and accommodating to busy schedules. They have a great system for scheduling appointments and you’re never waiting for more than 5 minutes. The nurse practitioners, Melanie and Rolande, are so knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. I’m so thankful for them because they take your pain seriously and want to help you manage chronic pain. All of the massage therapists are very skilled at being able to pinpoint your areas of tension and work their magic. It can be hard to find a massage therapist who is good at working on deep tension in the neck but that’s never been a problem here The acupuncturists, Jeremy and Andrea, really help to relieve your tension. I usually see Jeremy and he is so funny, kind, caring, and can release muscles that you didn’t even know were tense. When I first tried acupuncture, Jeremy explained everything to me, put my mind at ease, and made sure that I sat up slowly afterwards so I didn’t get lightheaded. Dr Karen, the chiropractor, is the only chiropractor I would trust. I’ve never seen a chiropractor before her but she is honestly amazing and does more than just cracking your back. The physical therapist, Rommel, is so nice and helpful. He takes his time working on you and will adjust your exercises based on your needs and progress. He is able to find the hidden muscle knot that I have right under the base of my skull that is so hard to release. Troy, who helps the physical therapist, is great also. He studied exercise science and he is very good at explaining how to do the exercises, how it should feel, and making sure you are doing them properly. It’s great that they have the ultrasound techs in their office so you don’t have to go to a separate place. Both of the ultrasound techs are so nice. I would 1000% recommend the east setauket thrive medical to everyone I know dealing with chronic pain (and I have, even my mom goes here now). I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences and I’m so grateful for everyone at thrive. Thank you guys for all that you do!!
