I spent 2 weeks at this facility and had no problems. The staff and everyone was right on top of things. The extra care to make sure I was leaving in good hands was way over what I expected. I would recommend going there after any hospital stay to recover.Thank you to all of you!!

I spent time in this facility last November. The Physical therapists are terrific as is the nursing staff. The facility itself is horrible. Complaints are not addressed and fixed as needed. Administration doesn't seem to give a darn! The food, not only is it inedible it is unrecognizable. Awful, awful! I fell due to improper safety measures and needed to be taken to the ER. The staff refused to pay for the ambulance even though it was their negligence. After laying on the floor calling for help for over 30 minutes a CNA finally showed up. As it was on Sunday early morning no doctor was available so the need to go to the ER. I had extensive back surgery and was worried that something had happened to that procedure. It is impossible to stress that his place is less than desirable. If you can choose anywhere else for your loved ones, please do.

My over all stay was pretty good. The phy ther department is excellent. Rob is by far the best person there. He is well-versed in all that he does. He is very personable and pleasant to talk to. Very good person. The young ladies are all very helpful & knowledgeable in what they are doing. Enjoy them all. As for the rest of the services, has a lot to be desired. The food is normally cold and not as ordered. The call button, at night, often takes 30-60 mins to get a response sometimes, right now. Day shift people answer pretty quick. The night shift people seem like they don't want to be here. Come in and get out as soon as possible. Nothing out of their way. There is a young mexican lady, Lilly, that comes in after 9 or 10 pm that is very nice, she is very efficient in what she does. Carey is the other one that is very good on nights. Day shift people are quick to respond. Nora is very, very helpful and is willing to go out of her way to help. She is very deserving and pleasant to talk to. Deserves some recognition. Overall I give them a 4 but some deserve a 5. Thank You, Douglas Fiala

If I could leave this please a ZERO I would. My husband and I had moved my sick dying mother here for 6 days. 6 days only. I was not too impressed by the care or lack of care my mother received the first few hours but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After visiting my mother on a nightly basis, it was evident that my mother as well as the other residents were not being cared for. Not only were they ignoring my mother who was on hospice care, requests for medications, they allowed her to sleep on the floor as she was uncomfortable. The staff thought it extremely funny. I asked if the nurse could please give my mom her medications, she gave me my mothers morphine to administer myself. My mother would only get her meds and what she needed when I would go at night to check on her. Several times I had to help residents with basic things because the nurses were too busy messing around. I understand that there was a staffing shortage. But it does not excuse the lack of care these residents get. Day 6 came around and I removed my mother. I had seen enough. My concerns have been brought to the managers attention. And I do genuinely think she was concerned to know of what was going on in her facility. Will there be any changes? Who knows. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. THEY WILL NOT GET THE CARE THEY NEED. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

I am a former Resident of Ardent, that has spent the last year in this facility. The Physical Rehab / Therapy dept is Great. They do a top notch job. All the personnel are very friendly & very good at their jobs. Unfortunately that's about the ONLY positive thing I can say about this facility, whatever they're calling themselves. Whether it be Ardent or Beecan or Vivage the level of care stays the same or gets worse. The Administration is totally oblivious or Morally corrupt or maybe a little of both. They will flat out lie to your face about doing or fixing something, but it never gets done. The Neglect that goes on from residents sitting in their own filth to repeatedly falling out of bed or not being fed or even physically assaulted is saddening. They don't get you Dr ordered procedures or Visits to specialists in a timely manner if at all. The Doctors & PA’s that they do have seem to change very often. I think I had 3 in the year I was there. The facility itself is disgusting. It's old and broken. The Heat & Swamp Coolers seem to be on the Fritz a lot. Spent several nights in the winter with no heat and about a month & a half with no swamp coolers during the Summer. Plugs won't stay in the outlets because they're so old & worn out. They have a whole wing that isn't usable due to it not being habitable because of bad plumbing, but the swamp cooler works great in that hall and the administration offices. The Cafe makes some truly disgusting food. They put out a menu that has all these embellished descriptions, but the slop that actually comes out isn't that at all most of the time. Most of the time it just makes you sick. If you have special dietary needs, good luck. They either can't read or choose not to read the menus. You can ask for things but half the time you don't get them. Also having to do with the building and the Cafe eating area. The building also has a little problem with leaks when a big rain happens. The biggest of these areas is in the Cafe dining room where the ceiling tiles are stained from the leaks along with the paint sagging from all the water running down the wall, When it's humid, you can smell the mold & mildew growing in the ceiling & wall. Things rarely ever get fixed around there, it just gets added to the list of their key jingling Maintenance Manager, who is barely capable of plunging a stopped up toilet. The Nursing staff keeps getting worse as more & more leave’ There are a handful of Staff CNA's & Nurses that are good, but most have left. They use 85-90% agency Nursing & CNA's, many of which do 1 or 2 shifts and never come back , if they don't just walk out mid-shift without a word. The Police are at the facility regularly. Luckily they're right across the street. There were Multiple assaults while I was there, but never any charges ever seem to get filed. Residents have also escaped regularly as well, usually ending with them getting hurt & brought back by the Police or EMT's. If all the above hasn't deterred you from EVER putting a loved one in this Facility. You may also consider this fact, before putting your loved one or bringing your young children to visit. There are MULTIPLE Sexual Offenders in the building and not all of them are Residents. Just give the Registry a little look for this address.Even though they probably deserve a negative star maybe I could give them a half star for the Therapy Dept & the few good staff they still have.
