My PT with Therapy in Motion has been a great experience. Everyone there has been more than helpful working with my schedule and they are always encouraging. As for the therapy side of things they have been great on making sure we are progressing every session while making sure we are not pushing my progress to quickly. They have been amazing to deal with. I would encourage anyone needing PT to go here so the staff can make sure you are well taken care of and back to 100% as quickly as safe and possible.

Dont waste your time. Constant issues and do not know the most basic rehabilitation and physical therapy techniques. They actually CAUSED damage to my extremity by force every time I went there which constantly cause a 10 day recovery period that would have been unnecessary had they listened. I was actually told “they couldn’t help me” because I was unable to perform the exercises THEY demanded or thought I should do! My DR even provided a note to the unusual circumstances post surgery that are legitimate post surgery rare conditions but they refused to acknowledge them or make a therapy plan based on MY unique situation and ability!! My Doctor will not be referring ANYONE here in the future because of the way I was treated! Awful, all of them! Plus, they kept trying to tell me to pay a copay despite having both of my insurances in their system since my 1st visit. Ridiculous, inefficient, ineffective, and careless. I went back to the place I loved years ago even though it is a longer drive. At Oklahoma Physical Therapy they actually build a plan with the patient, provide at home exercises, and tools needed per the individual patient’s condition AND feedback.

For sure suggest being very cautious. Months after ever being there I kept getting bills, and I continued to just pay them. On the last bill that I paid, I asked why I am being billed so late, and if this surely has to be it, they were small bills less than 100 dollars most times, and was told yes this was it, well they have sent 3 others since for the following year, as if they did not process them on time, going into the next year, I spoke with them and called and left voicemails, after continuing to get a bill, well now here we are 2.5 years later and I got mail from a collections agency. I have never been hard to get ahold of or tell them what was going on. This was a mistake on there part, and they obviously do not seem to care. And as for the Therapy portion, nothing special there either. Just be careful with your bills and make sure they process your stuff in the correct time and year, and do not let them bill you months and months later. Shame on you guys for this. I will be sure to share my story with anyone that will listen.

Everyone here is so wonderful. The physical therapist Tianna and Lee were wonderful and nice. Even the PT assistant David and Brittany were fantastic. Also, the front desk receptionist Mary is fantastic! Words cannot express how I feel about all them. I would definitely go back to them for physical therapy. They all are definitely 5 star approved!

I am so glad I chose Therapy in Motion in Newcastle for PT after my stokes. Everyone kept me under close supervision and I felt absolutely no danger of falling. This is my first experience with PT and I have heard other people talk about their bad experiences with PT and so I was dreading it. But these specific people, with their close compassionate knowledgable care were instrumental in giving me my good life back to me. I was thrilled to get a t-shirt that I can wear and advertise so others can now the best place to go to have effective and good PT! Here are just some of the people who will change your life! Gracie- Always a smile and absolutely no judgement if you needed to reschedule or cancel due to high blood pressure or other family obligations. She works fast as she looks at available spots in her software and can quickly get you back on the books. David- always a huge smile with a question asking how are you? He is constantly cleaning used PT tools to disinfect and ensure no germ passage between patients. In addition to these duties, he keeps an eagle eye out so if a patient finishes exercises and the pt in charge is with another patient, he will step to the computer, check with your PT, and get you started on the next batch of exercises. I so thoroughly appreciated his ability to multitask and help me so as to not waste any of my valuable therapy time. Lee- Always an excellent encourager with his words. For example, when I first started and could not do the bike fast, and complained of being old, his response was he had 80 and 90 yo that could do it too! He assured me I could do it faster to as I healed. Another example is when I could not do hip lifts due to sciatica hip pain. He said it was ok and not to worry because it would come later as I got stronger and healed. Probably my favorite aspect of lee’s care was his encouragement to be controlled in my movements, with his patience explanations given many times as to why and how it would work and why it helped me. Tianna- This awesome lady reminds me of the country song by Martina McBride, I May be Little but I Am Loud. With Tianna, she may be little and young as a new PT, BUT, she can pinpoint the exact areas of pain with no secondary tries. As a result, when she is pressing on all those intersecting muscle groups and their trigger points, it may be painful, but when she is done at the end of a session, I always felt so much better for hours afterward. As I healed with her massage therapy, those time periods free from pain got to be longer and longer. She was always giving me tips on how to improve my exercises to make them better and more effective. Along with Stephanie, she helped me come up with printed out exercises to do at home. She modeled them for me and taught me how to do them properly. Stephanie- I only got to work with her 2xs, but these times were of infinite help to my healing journey. After she completed her progress report, she helped me come up with 75% of my exercise routine to be done at home. I greatly appreciated her precise understanding of my needs after my strokes. Kara- I only worked with her once, but during this time I was struggling with high blood pressure and she helped me understand the safe parameters for coming into PT. She is quiet and gentle, but her smile is readily given to you along with her encouraging words.

The entire staff at Therapy in Motion in Newcastle is top notch. I’ve been a patient for many years. I have been to other Physical Therapy clinics in the past, but none gave me the positive results that TIM has. Mary is great at scheduling my visits. Lee and Caleb are results oriented therapists, and the progress I have made in my current treatment has been really fantastic. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that wants to have a positive outcome to their desired goals and their needs met.

I absolutely love coming to Therapy in Motion Physical Therapy!!! You have the very BEST experience from the time you check in. It's so nice having someone at check in as special as Mary, who knows you by name, who cares about how you are doing and makes you feel truly special and welcome!!!! The Therapists Tienna and Lee have been amazing! I have enjoyed working with them both. Your appointments are not just about hard work and exercise here. They also care about you as a patient, and your well being. It's alot of fun being caught up in conversations and laughing, you completely forget about physical therapy being work. It truly helps that they can help take your mind off of that pain for that 1 hour when you hurt so badly. I believe they truly do want the very best outcome for each of their patients and that is the goal that they strive to accomplish. This is my 2nd time coming to Therapy in Motion Physical Therapy, there's no other place I'd rather go to! If you're looking for a great place to go for all different types of therapy, this is where you need to be!!!! Don't look any further!!!

I have to say this has been the best experience I have ever had at Physical Therapy. They really do go above and beyond to help and figure out a treatment plan to get the best results to provide relief and the chance at a better quality of life. I have Lupus and R.A. so I have a lot of areas that were causing me pain and different challenges with daily life activities. Everyone I have dealt with has been a pleasure to work with, and you can really tell they all enjoy what they do and want the best outcome for their patients. Mary in the front office is always ready to greet you with a smile, and everyone there seems genuinely interested in getting to know you. Tianna, Lee, Kanon, Brit, and all the other support staff, students, office staff (I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's names) etc. seem to work well as a team and provide a positive environment for the patients. It really makes the treatment go by quicker when you get to chatting and sharing stories and not dreading PT. When I need physical therapy again in the the future, as long as I get a say where to get treatment, I will definitely come back to this location! Ann
