As I've suffered a stroke back in 2009, I've had to get physical therapy a few times. No place I ever went to, was even close to being as friendly, professional, or having a sense of decorum as Therapeutic Associates. I noticed that everyone working there, took their work as more of a calling than 'just a job.' That is something you just don't see often, if at all, anymore, especially when it's everyone working at a place having the same sensibilities of friendliness, professionalism, decorum, and happiness.

I met with Tim, Klay, Eli and Jordan and enjoyed working with them to heal from the pain in my left shoulder. After 8-9 visits, Klay discharged me with a set of exercises that I hope will prevent me from injury. They were very professional and friendly. I would seek them again for any PT.

Worked with Tim and the team on a rotator cuff tear that a surgeon said required surgery, but with a lot of work and care from the team here I no longer needed surgery post PT and have a great chance of a smooth recovery! Highly recommend

I have been a patient at Therapeutic Associates in Queen Anne 3 times for 2 different problems. The guidance and care have been exceptional every time and have most definitely improved the quality of my life. Tim Dice, PT, DPT, has been my PT twice now and is very knowledgeable and creative with both my in office visits and my home PT program. If I should need physical therapy in the future I know exactly where to go!

I worked with Amanda Scharen and I can not recommend her enough. In the beginning of my third trimester, I began to have intense pelvic girdle pain. I went from running to hardly being able to walk without pain. I figured I would have this pain the rest of my pregnancy, but with Amanda's expertise, I am at the end of my pregnancy and barely think about the pain anymore. Because of her thoughtful care, I've been able to work, exercise, and just live life without pain. I also feel more prepared for labor and birth because of the types of exercises we've worked on together. I would recommend ANY pregnant or postpartum person see Amanda. I'm looking forward to continuing my care after birth! In addition to this, the employees working at the front desk and the employees helping with exercises are always helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.

I had an incredible experience working w Amanda and the rest of the team. With a recent diagnosis of a chronic pain condition, Amanda really took the time to understand my needs spanning across my whole body. She offered great tools to exercise in a healthy way for me, and consistently checked in on my goals and the things I wanted to focus on. Alongside exercise, Amanda also worked with me on breathing and breathing through pain— a tool I’m going to take with me through life. The exercise specialists were also very kind and offered helpful guidance. My time with Amanda and Theraputic Associates gave me such a brighter outlook on exercise moving forward, and I cannot recommend them enough!

I went to Therapeutics Associates at Queen Ann for a running injury and was disappointed by the course of my treatment. For the initial evaluation the therapist asked me if it was ok if a student joined us. This has happened during doctors visits before, but what has never happened to me was that I was handed off to the student for evaluation and treatment. I didn't consult directly with the therapist for over a month and a half, after the student had moved onto their next rotation, even while my symptoms worsened. This made me feel devalued as a patient and like neither myself, my time, or my distress at my lack of progression were being taken seriously. For someone considering using Therapeutics Associates, I would note that the standard model seems to be that you work with the licensed therapist for roughly the first half of the session. After that you will often be handed off to a tech who takes you through the exercises set out by the therapist. In my experience working with the techs, they give limited feedback or correction on form. Personally I rely upon this sort of feedback to make sure that I'm learning the exercises correctly and that they have their intended effect.

I came to see Amanda with a quad injury. I was 3 months away from running my first 50k and could barely walk. Amanda and her team made me feel so comfortable, as if we were all friends, and worked together to get me to race day. They gave me personalized professional care and I felt so fortunate to work with such a great team of experts. Amanda helped me gain the strength and confidence to reach my goals! I highly recommend Amanda and her staff for any injury recovery!
