I just had all my appointments canceled due to their "late-cancellation policy". For context I had missed only a single prior appointment. I called on Monday to reschedule an appointment on Tuesday due to conflicting times. THAT apparently counted as a "late cancellation". Then on the day that I rescheduled to 8/28/24, I got an appointment notification for another appointment that conflicted. I tried to call and let them know, but instead I was told that I violated their their missed and late cancellation policy and they would be discharging my case. So in other words, if you have nothing to do? These guys are fine. But if you have a life just don't bother, they are unwilling to accommodate.

I was referred to TAI West Eugene for an injury, and they were booked out for a month or so, so I booked really far in advance to get in. I ended up getting in somewhere else, and have been doing PT there with great results. For the last month or just over, I have attempted to call TAI West Eugene multiple times to advise them of this, but every time I would call, the automated phone system would say there is an error regardless of what option I selected. The phone application that they use does not allow you to cancel your own appointments without calling them. So after missing a call from this clinic and being unable to call back a few times, I finally caught a call from them suspecting they would call around the time my appointment would have been which I was correct. I started trying to explain to them that there is something potentially wrong with their phone line, and I was cut off by them saying "Well we've been getting calls all the time here so that's not happening" in a fairly condescending tone, which I assume they thought I was about to make an excuse for missing my appointment. I let them know well it definitely is, because I've been trying to contact them for a month now to let them know I don't need these appointments at all, I just wanted to follow through to let them know so that they could look into it further in case it is interfering with other patients care that DO still need to be seen there. Their attitude shifted back to polite once they realized I wasn't trying to make an excuse, and they thanked me for letting them know about this. I do understand that your clinic likely has a tight schedule to run, and I would hope on the first time of meeting or talking to a person, you would have compassion, actively listen to them, don't immediately discount their feedback and presume that they are just automatically disrespectful. I hope your phone system is an easy fix.

Broke my femur Jan 14th. Went to Slocums for follow up appointment, was given what I was told by Slocums an authorization or whatever it's called for getting physical therapy, with a list of local physical therapy locations. I decided to google which was the highest rated as the list was long. So I chose this place because it had 5 stars. Called them, they asked a lot of questions, then when they were finished asking questions, they told me the paper Slocums gave me that said "Therapy Orders", signed by the doctor who performed the surgery, was not any kind of "authorization" for treatment. They then told me I had to contact Slocums, who had to then contact the VA, who then had to contact Therapeutic Associates with "authorization" to get therapy. I contacted the VA directly after hanging up with this company. The VA then told me they don't know why the therapy place needs a separate authorization from what Slocums gave them. So the VA gave me the authorization number for the physical therapy and said they would fax it to Therapeutic Associates who gave me their fax number. I called back Therapeutic Associates who said the authorization number they received from the VA is not correct and that it is for Slocums to treat me not them. I called the VA back who said they will look into it and get back with me within a week. Therapeutic Associates called me back and told me I was right the whole time and that the authorization number I gave them was correct and would I like to schedule a appointment, so I said sure. They then proceeded to tell me the soonest appointment they have available would be a month from now. That was the last straw. Slocums says they have no idea why this is happening, this company should know exactly how this works, the VA, Slocums, and Therapeutic Associates, all work together on a regular basis, and this is nothing new, quite the contrary, it's old hat. How these people got 5 stars escapes me. Thanks to your stellar efficiency, I'm going somewhere else, your not the only fish in the sea.

I've seen Brad for my hip and now for my shoulder/chest, post breast cancer. The active PT was so helpful, allowing me to have more range of motion after each appointment. The home exercises helped me to progress as well. Overall, I feel the customer service and quality and knowledge of their staff is top-notch. After 11 surgeries for breast cancer, I needed a lot of work and the care and improvement I am getting is amazing. Would recommend for breast cancer patients.

I highly recommend West Eugene Physical Therapy. I’ve had a rough year with multiple injuries/surgeries. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping you recover. They spend the time needed to make sure you understand the path forward- including home exercises. I feel like I’m in great hands and I’m grateful for their guidance and motivation! Thank you to Brad, Ryan and Jackie and all of the other folks at West Eugene PT!

I have been unfortunate in needing Physical Therapy multiple times over the years for different injuries but I can say that the Therapeutic Associates at West Eugene PT were some of the most understanding. It is easy to get to, has lots of parking and has a fairly flexible schedule and will always try to make sure you stay with the same person each time so as not to lose progress. They are partnered up next to a gym and If your injury would benefit, they offered in pool services. I did end up leaving their care before the end of my 10 appointments as I have bad hyper mobility and wasn't seeing many results and I felt that I might need more specialized care tailored towards my specific pain and hypermobility.

Had a terrible experience with Brad. I would not recommend wasting your time here. Felt like I wasted 8 weeks of my life just for him to tell me at the end of my program that I'm fine. Now I have to seek a second opinion. It was clear to me that he did not take me seriously or just didn't give a damn about me being in pain.

My therapist Emily was extremely knowledgeable and helped relieve my condition very effectively. She was also very pleasant to work with, and the office staff was welcoming. This was my first time going through physical therapy, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else
