Writing the review from their facility… Extremely helpful, caring and nice staff. Great facility and state of the art equipment. They make you work hard but, it is worth every second and every bit of sweat and pain. Even their food is good.

Family member went to rehab here for 9 days after severe TBI. Rehab consisted of helping with balance a.d that is about it! Drs never return calls or call when they say they will. Definitely not the type of Rehab a TBI patient with delusions and hallucinations needs. They didn't even bother to teach him how to change his own colostomy bag! Unless you are going for Ortho rehab defiinitely do not recommend.

The receptionist needs tips on working with patients & the KU phone system to direct people calling for an appointment to the proper department & phone # instead of immediatly transferring them to the hospital operator without saying a word. K U Med is huge, & there are lots of phone numbers for various departments. Personally, I would rather know their direct number. The operators there are very busy, & waiting on hold for awhile can be very tiresome. When I finally did get the # I needed (The Spine Center) I was asked to hold twice (2 different days) I finally gave the gentleman (who was obviously very busy) my number to call me back. Today is Thursday June 27 t h. I've been trying to make an appointment forever it seems, & getting not very far. I wish I could make an online appointment!

The nurses here are great! The only problem I've seen so far is that the different groups that help out with the patients do not seem to communicate very well making thing very confusing for the patients and their families.

Honestly I’m in shock waited 4 hours in the ER and had 4 other people go in front of my girlfriend after she had been there way way before they had showed up with just a slight fever and chills don’t forget there are still other serious matters than just Covid 19 just got out of the ER at Shawnee mission which is a huge joke don’t waste your time over there either but as far as making certain people who really need to be seen vs who really can wait is a joke

This is a wonderful facility , safe,, clean,caring,efficient .,food is great .Therapy fantastic 3 x a day. open visiting hours staffed efficient for facility5 star ,,

Ku Acute rehabilitations is beyond a wow!!! Staff ... everything amazing! Scheduled rehab is amazing
