Dr. Sam Bell is a once-in-a-lifetime care provider. Not only does he have an incredible breadth and depth of knowledge of the body, he is an amazing listener. In contrast to many physical therapists I’ve seen in the past, he takes time every session to ask how it’s been going and find out if I have any new concerns. I feel so supported by the way he shows up as a professional who puts the patient’s needs first. I’m a bit of a special case with complex issues that keep evolving. Sam has consistently come up with creative and holistic routines to help me manage my pain and calm my nervous system. Originally I came to Sam with a winged scapula and he’s rolled with the emergent tenosynovitis/complex regional pain syndrome in my wrist and hand that have significantly changed the treatment as we’ve continued to work together. Sam has also given me some customized guidance and effective exercises to relieve pain from ongoing knee issues from a meniscus repair and a bulging disc in my mid back. I no longer have problems in these areas and am overall much stronger and knowledgeable about what I need to do in the future to support myself. All of these issues have been happening at the same time, and Sam has done an exceptional job coming up with exercises that I can do despite limitations and progressing me forward when it’s the right time to do so. Again, unlike other PTs I’ve been to who barely check in on me during 2x/week sessions and hand me a piece of paper with exercises, Sam uses a robust app with videos of each exercise so I can easily follow along. He’s been so generous with his time in between sessions, even texting with me from a surgeon’s office. Invoices are a breeze and he offers a range of packages to provide support in accessible ways. If you are struggling with a new or existing issue, don’t wait. Call Sam. You will be amazed at the level of comprehensive care and emotional support needed to truly recover and heal.

I've been seeing Sam for 4 months and wish I'd started years ago. I was referred to Sam by my pelvic floor physical therapist for a muscle imbalance that was causing me pain. The therapy and work out routines and coaching provided by Sam have helped correct the issue. Sam is great at designing workouts that are safe and appropriately challenging that correct muscle imbalances and build strength. In the 4 months I've been visiting Bell Physical Therapy I've gained a considerable amount of strength and move and feel much better throughout the day. I value the expertise and feel so much better, I recommended Bell Physical Therapy to my wife and she has also been a patient now for several weeks and already feels better throughout the day. Highly recommend!

I have had the BEST experience at Bell Physical Therapy!! I have a Pars defect that was causing severe pain in my leg and preventing me from doing simple things such as taking a walk, doing yoga and enjoying my life. Before the onset of the pain, I was a pretty active person - I loved doing yoga, hiking, working out at the gym and taking spin classes. Once the pain started, I could not do any of those things. My orthopedic doctor recommended physical therapy. I spent two years in traditional physical therapy with little to no improvement. A friend recommended Sam and all I can say is that I am soooo thankful for that recommendation! Within three months of working with Sam, I am a completely different person! The pain is gone!!! And, I am back to most of my activities! Last weekend, I took a 4 mile hike at elevation with my husband (something I thought I could never do during this past two years) and I am back to doing yoga again! I am so thankful and grateful to Bell Physical Therapy and everything they have done for me! I am truly a huge fan and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Sam and Amanda - you have given me my life back and I am truly grateful for it!!!

I came to Sam for a sprained ACL injury. Each time we worked together over the course of about 3 months, he was very prepared, thorough and passionate about my recovery. I can now happily say that I've safely returned to physical activity with a much stronger knee, thanks to the work I was able to do with him! I highly recommend anyone to work with Sam!
