My son and I have been attending the Therapy Spot for about 6 months. From before coming in to the facility-- I was already impressed with what they had to offer. I had spoken to the staff over the phone and they spent a long time answering all my questions and providing me support. They were also able to fit us in, and work with our tricky schedule, very quickly. The facility itself is lovely and welcoming. This was such an improvement from our previous OT office which felt tight/ stressful and more like a doctor's office. Their open space lobby is designed with children in mind and even has various forms of entertainment available while we wait. They really thought this through! I was thrilled to learn that we got paired up with a single therapist, who will work with us weekly-- which is not always a given. This allowed for us to feel comfortable and allow us to establish relationships. Our visits were not always easy, as my son ensured to keep everyone on their toes with his needs, but progress was definitely seen over time. We were very fortunate to be paired up with Anna who is lovely/ kind/ and forever patient. And while I'm sure she must have had times of immense frustrations from the challenges we posed, she was always professional and never showed those! All the other therapist we crossed paths with, in the halls, always had a sunny disposition and seemed friendly and welcoming to the children, as were the ladies at reception. They all ensured that our needs were met, and provided follow up suggests and ideas for at-home practice. Overall this place is really top notch. Thank you to everyone at the Therapy Spot!!!! Highly recommend :)

The women at the front desk need to fix their faces. How you gonna give my child a dirty look? As well as the therapist need to have more patience with the children. Probably should consider hiring receptionist that are friendly, nice and patient especially for single parents with tight schedules. I had to leave because I couldn’t stand the look on the receptionist faces. Plus how standoffish and how they are not patient or understanding. You can hear it in their voices.

I have never been happier with any other therapy clinic. Since my initial phone call, the front office have been so helpful and professional with getting me scheduled for evaluations. They made sure I had everything I needed before my child’s evaluations so that the day of the appointment will be a breeze! In the clinic, I felt right at home! The receptionists greeted us like friends and made us feel so welcomed! The therapists were super professional and friendly as well! Scheduling weekly sessions was super easy as the receptionists were super helpful and went out of their way to try to find slots that fit our needs. When my personal schedule changed and we needed to change therapy schedules, I never felt like I was a bother and the receptionists were always patient with my many requests and schedule changes (and still are!!). My child is making so much progress and I am so happy I have found The Therapy Spot! Thank you Estie, Kim and Frimee for always working with me with schedules and all my child’s amazing therapists for OT, SLP, and PT (EVERY SINGLE THERAPIST THERE!!) who are always helping and teaching him and helping him grow!

My son, 3 has been attending therapy here for over a year and they are amazing. My son sees a speak therapist, occupational therapist and a feeding therapist. They have help with his communication both verbal and non verbally. Recently he was given an ACC from the county and his therapist has been helping both him and I learn to you it. The occupation therapist his help my son with his gross and fine motor skills. The feeding therapist his improved his food sensory aversion and also got him to drink from straw and open cups. My son is always excited to go into his sessions. His therapist are truly a blessing and have impacted him so much.

Definitely my favorite spot for speech and OT. Very friendly-professional staff, sessions were persistent and very helpful for my child. I had to switch my boy due to his ABA schedule, but if I will have the opportunity to take him back to The Therapy Spot I will definitely do it. Thanks to the amazing people who work and help us with our little ones.

My son has been attending the Therapy Spot or as I like to call it the “Magic Spot” for over a year now. The initial evaluation told me that it would be a long time before he would be able to eat food other than puréed but by month 6 everything changed. Ms. Alexa and Ms. Nida have been the best and always display so much patience with my son that he has now fully blossomed and shows his personality great. The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming. They have been an integral part of care, always providing updates, and displaying patience with my son as well. After having a terrible therapist at GBMC, working with Baltimore County Infants and toddlers where only half the staff listen to your concerns and offer no real support, a year waiting list with both Kennedy Krieger and Mt Washington, The Magic Spot has been the best decision I ever made.

We’ve been attending The Therapy Spot for occupational therapy, and we couldn’t be happier. Ms. Louise is an outstanding therapist who truly goes above and beyond. Her engaging approach has made a significant impact on our son’s progress. He’s not only meeting but exceeding his goals, thanks to her dedication and expertise. The clinic’s overall vibe is incredibly positive. From the moment we step in, there’s a sense of warmth and encouragement. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is conducive to growth and learning. It’s evident that everyone genuinely cares about the well-being of the children they work with. If you’re seeking a place where your child can thrive, we wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. Thank you, Ms. Louise, for making a difference in our son’s life!

The waiting room is dingy and seems dirty possibly because it is outdated. The receptionist hide inside their windowed off area and don't speak to any clients. When you call, it seems like they are annoyed by having to do their job. It's strange. For a place that accommodates special services, it could definitely use a revamp and cozier environment in all the rooms. Why have typical chairs for kids instead of sensory chairs? Some things just feel off and like we aren't getting the best care we could be if the owner put some time into the place...
