I was having pain and discomfort following a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis when I met David in the Silver Strength class at Beyond Fitness. I was so interested in his discussion of how our feet play such an important role in our balance, strength, and mobility, that I decided to see him at The Therapy Co. to see what his recommendations were for my situation. David did a thorough evaluation on my first visit and we discussed footwear, toe spacers, and manipulation of the toes, all of which were new to me as part of treatment for plantar fasciitis. He also outlined a plan for how we would address my issues in therapy, including exercises for me to do at home. I was amazed to realize that there was improvement after only 1 session. Today I had my fourth session and we walked a mile outside on varying terrain, and I had no pain! After 2 weeks, and 4 sessions, my treatment is complete. I appreciate several things about David’s approach to wellness and physical health, but what I feel was most important to my successful treatment was his impressive research-based knowledge and also his ability to “zoom out” to look at the body as a whole, and then develop a treatment plan to address the needs in a specific area. I highly recommend David as a physical therapist, but also as an excellent diagnostician and clinician, qualities that I feel were key in my recovery.

David really knows what he is doing. He really takes time to get a complete history of your problems. He has worked on my shoulder in the past and helped me avoid the need for surgery. He conducted a video analysis on my body mechanics while running to find out what was causing the pain in my knee when running long distances. By doing this he was able to show me how one foot was landing at an odd angle. After several physical tests he was able to show me some exercises to strengthen a weak ankle to correct the issue.

David did a remarkable job in evaluating my lower back problem and providing a therapy procedure that produced ab immediate result. He then gave me simple exercises to perform at home. Previously I have had several medical professionals look at my lower back and their approaches were not effective. He did it! I am very appreciative.

I had major back surgery and needed to find a physical therapist in Alexandria, La, for a few weeks. Therapy Co. was recommended by my insurance company and it was like no other. David, is an amazing therapist, who personalized my treatment towards the beginning of a very successful recovery. I would highly recommend TherapyCo. to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Dr David is super knowledgeable about the human body and how it works, He is very compassionate and genuinely concerned about his patients and their well-being. He uses the latest techniques in physic therapy, such as Lazer heat therapy for inflammation and gives you exercises to help you at home. He gets to the root of the problem! After my 1st visit I could tell he was right on track with my issues, I have know doubt I’ll be back in good shape soon! Give him a call, you’ll be glad you did!

David Joshua Remedios is absolutely the best, after knee replacement and months of therapy locally I was still unable to bend my knee and in severe pain. 1 visit with David and he got my knee moving and alleviated the pain. He is so personal and hands on. I honestly don't know where I would be physically without his expertise and care. Driving from Lafayette to Alexandria to see him is worth every minute. Thank you David for being such a blessing.

The Therapy Co. is an incredible clinic to regain your health. After several car accidents, Dr. David J., DPT Remedios treated my pain with laser therapy and physical therapy. He was very thorough and methodical in the physical therapy process. Today, I am leading a very active lifestyle again. I highly recommend this clinic for all physical therapy needs.

Huge shoutout to The Therapy Co. for helping my newborn daughter with her shoulder injury! She got hurt during the birthing process and had nerve compression and limited mobility, but after one session with Dr. Remedios, she was finally able to move her arm in ways she could never do before! He was so gentle and kind to her and was just as excited as we were when she showed progress. During his assessment, he provided education and sent us home with resources and videos so we can help her during everyday activities. He even helped my wife with her post pregnancy swelling in her legs! Even though we have many physical therapists in Lafayette, we drove an hour and a half just to see Dr. Remedios specifically because he focuses on quality over quantity.
