Stay away. They advertise free intake to determine the services children you never make it this far. Kendra, the scheduler is rude and does not follow through. I called and was told I'd be sent paperwork and never did. I had to call again and request the paperwork from someone else. I submitted everything and I continued to get threatening emails from Kendra threatening to cancel my daughters appointment while she was admitted to Yale Hospital. The office manager is not any further help. I signed all documents and uploaded all insurance information immediately to be told they did not have any of the information. Then continued to be harassed while away for holiday to come back to her appointment canceled instead of squaring up in person at intake. So where are my completed forms ? Hippa protection and safety for information ? If the office manager and scheduler treat you this poorly (threatening you with time lines and NO concern for time and schedule-- I WANT THIS NOW BY 3PM) They will have no care of concern for the child's well-being.

Truly a blessing for my toddler with a speech delay. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and attentive. My child’s speech language pathologists are passionate about helping my 2 year old communicate. The front office staff is helpful, prompt and accommodating. Scheduling requests (bad weather, illness, changing normal routine, etc) are easy peasy via the phone or quickly addressed via an email. The weekday evening and weekend sessions are perfect for busy caregivers. The location is close to the center of town, yet safe, quiet and not overstimulating. Parking is always available. I highly recommend this rehab location, they have helped my child find his voice.

Requiring all PHI and PII information before becoming a patient or to be placed on a waiting list is a violation of CT compliance. Because this is considered health/medical environment requiring all medical history insurance information DOB and SSN to be placed on a waiting list is a violation of CT compliance law. Reccommend SPG revamp waiting list practices to conform to CT law. First and Last name, age of child, needed services, times and insurance companies. Advise potiential patient when number is up will only have 72 hours to provide required information to move forward with evaluations. No reason for all of our medical records to be in the hands of anyone or accessible to anyone to be placed on a 6-9 month waiting list

As an undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to observe the SLPs here, and I absolutely loved it. I was able to learn a lot from the experience as the SLPs guided me through their thought process and answering any and all questions had about the sessions. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to complete their observation hours!

We absolutely LOVE coming to SPG! Alexis, Kerry Ann, Melissa, and Micaela are so great with our son. He has made tremendous progress and adores all of them. Kendra at the front desk is also amazing and very helpful with accommodating our sometimes hectic schedule. The billing department is sweet, thorough, and works very hard with insurance to make these services accessible to the families they work with. The environment is very inclusive and affirming of neurodiversity, which is very important to us. The entire team at SPG are rockstars. We feel so fortunate to have found them!

We went to SPG as a recommendation from my sons dentist. I was so happy with their thorough evaluations and recommendations. My son absolutely loves going and his therapists are so wonderful with home and school communication. I am so thankful for all they have done to help my son succeed in his goals. I have told many friends about SPG too!

I’ve been bringing my son to the speech pathology group since September and the progress he has made since starting is phenomenal. All of the therapists we have worked with are exceptionally kind and my son is so excited to go for his sessions every week. Planning on continuing to bring him there for as long as needed. Facility is very neat, clean and organized and they are very diligent about covid procedures as far as temp checks, sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment during these unprecedented times. Thank you to all the staff!!

We feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful team to support our daughter. Khaila was instrumental in helping our daughter to gain the language and confidence to meet her goals--our daughter looked forward to her appointments and always left with a smile on her face. The SPG team was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They helped us to connect with outside professionals to support our daughter. Every time we attended an outside appointment, SPG had called ahead to update them on our daughter's needs and progress. Our pediatrician has also recommended SPG to other patients. We highly recommend this team!
