The day I walked into SA (11/25/16), I was lost & broken mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually and finally hit rock bottom. I had lost everything including myself and was ready for a new way of life.... I just didn’t know how. The choices that I had made to get me to where I was were bad, but that didn’t make me a bad person. What SA taught me is priceless and the relationship I have with God today is forever. The program opened my eyes to a whole new world without alcohol or drugs. It taught me the basics for every day life like responsibility, accountability, self love, living life on life’s terms and expanding my relationship with my higher power who I call God and Jesus Christ. By doing life one day at a time, following Gods Will and taking action, I have 4 years clean and sober (All God, His Grace and Mercy) Today I have a life full of many blessings which include my family, my son and most importantly ME!! I may have graduated the program, but this new lifestyle is a continuous process full of changes and growth for life. I continue this beautiful journey of recovery by doing the next indicated thing ... thanking God all the time, prayer/meditation, weekly meeting with my sponsor, attending meetings, step work, fellowshipping and being of service. God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!! I will be forever grateful to God for His unconditional love and the Fresno ARC program for having a place where people like me can find their true authentic selves to be who God intended us to be. 🙏🏼❤️🙌🏼

God really blessed my life through this place and healed me. I won't say it's easy because there's work involved in healing but I really had the time of my life living in community with brothers and sisters and serving a greater purpose by working in the warehouse. Excellent food and sparkling clean facility as well. God's Love is present in this place and miracles happen here. God bless the Salvation Army.

Absolutely best thing I’ve done in my life, FOR my life! Those that have left negative reviews are not ready to surrender. Including the family ;-) We joked in the program that ARC didn’t stand for Adult Rehabilitation Center - it stands for “always ready for change”. And it’s TRUE!! I learned surrender there. Surrender to things I didn’t agree with. Guess what, I’m not in charge!! Salvation Army’s not in charge either, GOD IS. But He works through Salvation Army to teach VALUABLE life lessons. Those that get kicked out or family members that are upset - aren’t ready to learn. To submit. The ego is still large & in charge. And that’s ok. Everyone’s timing is different! I’m SO glad God used Salvation Army to get my attention before it was too late. I don’t take one day for granted. Grateful to be alive!!

This drug program is a joke. They just make up the rules as they go or change them whenever it is convenient for them. The people who work there are incompetent, idiots who barely graduated their sorry excuse for a program yesterday. All they care about is the money they make off of making people work for free. Just plain greedy people smh

I graduated on Sep 28 2016 I was with some of you brothers that have left comments on here and I am doing BLESSED up to this day. don't lose hope brothers my name is Misael Lopez and here for whoever needs me.God has restored my life my family my material things and even blessed me with my first home just by praying to him humbly and going every week to church just like we make time to do other things we need to make 1 hour at least for church a week.No matter what PRAY about everything EVERYDAY god hears and keeps ALL his promises I don't care if people talk and I left all my negative friends and focus 100% on my family I'm not perfect but god sees all my effort and PATIENCE.I am a SALVATION ARMY SOLDIER.If you need help go back to program and actually listen with a humble heart and give it your 100% and actually want to change so god can restore you with all the new fruits of the holy spirit and take away that old lifestyle stay all the time YOU need and god will bless you just like Art said now I see my past and it seems like just a bump in the road all my years of meth use and the stay at the program so stay up it can be done!

Unorganized admission process. Was told different intake times and requirements multiple times. Tried to take my family member and they told him he did not need a social security card, we get there and he does. Tried again the next day and they said he could take any prescribed medications, and we get there and they won’t allow his medications. We live and hour away so making multiple trips just to receive wrong info was a pain. The admissions people were rude and unwelcoming. Would not recommend.

My Husband was kicked out of the program for no reason. I have talked too several families and this happens all the time because there a non-profit organization and do not have to answer to anyone. I know that the resident manager works while he is under the influence of alcohol. The salvation Army is all about the Almighty dollar.

If you are not ready to change your life I would not recommend this program. This place has taught me so much but there were days where I had to fight myself to stay. I will be forever greatful to the ARC but more importantly I will be forever greatful to my Lord and Savior for giving me the strength to get through it. 🙌🙋♥️
