Recently after a short stay at a local hospital I was admitted to Country Villa Sheraton for convalescing and Physical Therapy for strengthening my body before returning home. I live in an apartment in a near by town. I live alone and find some chores hard to manage. Villa Sheraton was recommended and seemed a good fit. The evening arrived was my birthday. I was shown my room and as I sat on my bed, I contemplated what would happen next. I wanted to go home, sleep in my own bed and felt uneasy. Four very gentle women slowly diffuse and I concede to give it a chance. The following morning, after much needed sleep and a chance to cool down. The nursing staff brought coffee, and next was breakfast. They smiled, were upbeat, and my apprehension began to fade. Someone I came to my room, inquired how I slept and told me how the day would play out. My schedule for PT was most important, to regain stamina and have three meals a day, I liked the energy of the staff, their empathy, and understanding. Non judge mental, and the variety of personalities. Completed of the picture. The following is a review of what I encountered. The staff were warm and welcoming, and accommodating. rooms, bathrooms.lines changed everyday and as needed. I did have issues with the food as I have a strict diet for my health. I would love a vegetarian menu. There are 138 beds total but since the Pandemic, far fewer. Activities are brought to the guests room for less socializing and safety. Quiet evenings, a place to rest and heal, and great PT suited to ability with encouragement. I feel confident that I will feel stronger when I return home

Hello, my name is Vaziri and I have been in this nursing home for more than 2 years. I'm in here because I had a stroke, here three people are in one room. About ten months ago, a new patient who was very noisy was brought into our room, named William. He was in my room for three months. My roommate and I didn't sleep for a while, and I had a second stroke, and when I came back from the hospital, they took him to another room with my protest and another roommate, but after five months, they brought him back to our room, but this time with a Machine oxygen & was on 24 hours and he was making a loud noise, and when I protested, this time the head of the nursing home (Xavier)and its manager (Adriana) they told me that it is what it is and they treated me I feel uncomfortable.when I Had Passed out and they took me to the hospital an they toled to 911 all lies about me,that I heard later Now let's talk about food Here 2 years ago when I was brought here, after two weeks, I always ordered food from the restaurant out of here and only eat breakfast here, most of the patios the same Regarding the CNA ,I give them 8 out of 10 bosses, here they are Exactly like the dictators of Latin American countries and only thinking about money and status, this is one of the worst nursing homes in America and Maybe it will be All the managers of this nursing home are thieves, for .example, they even steal your food that you buy from the restaurant and……. I think I hurt you, but if you love your life and your family, please don't come here, you will regret it , God bless you.

I have trained at this facility for several months and have been impressed with the overall experience. The building is well maintained, very clean and odor free unlike other nursing homes I have been too. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They accommodate all types of patients and have a wonderful rehab facility that work daily to get patients strong and healthy again so they can return home. The facility is open for scheduled visitation which is wonderful and is currently Covid free! If I had a loved one that needed loving care, I would highly recommend this place.

They tried to steal my family members money, they stole her salads and underwear. Didn't answer call button, didn't clean wounds properly and didn't bathe her when needed. She developed a rash. And food sucks.

My dad was sent here by Kaiser and I was kind of afraid at first. It was very small and different. He got his own room at first but then was changed to a different room with a roommate. Nurses / Staff were very nice and gentle with him. They took good care of him until he got better. The physical therapists did a great job too!! They took their time to help my dad get back up on his feet. Overall, I’m happy with how they treated and how much attention my dad got!!

Run run away!!! Horrible. Short staffed and incompetent. They sent my mom home with Covid and pneumonia. They didn’t even test her on the day of discharge for Covid now my whole family is on watch and separated. She’s alone in the hospital, confused and bewildered after a stroke unable to communicate. This place should be shut down and sued.

I was going to visit a good friend there and looked up the address and found very bad ratings. But I was pleasantly surprised. In the past 10 years of visiting people at different rehab centers in the Los Angeles area, the Country Villa in North Hills ( on Sepulveda Blvd) is one of the best or is the best. It was very clean, no carpeting which usually indicates could be dirty. The floors were spotless and although the rooms were sparsely furnished, all was clean. There was a large window in my friend’s room, which made for a bright, cheery feel. And I encountered about five workers, whom I interacted with, all spoke English to me, were pleasant, helpful, and seemed quite capable in their duties there.

My brother is there. The staff is nice to us, nice to him. It's a little crowded, but the nurses at his station have been very patient with notifying my brother that his phone was ringing. The physical therapy staff worked skillfully and patiently to help my brother heal from his broken arm. The activities people allowed my brother to sing to their cds in the activity hall. My brother has not complained about the food, and it looks good when I see it. My brother lost some weight, and the dietitian offered him to eat some yogurt every day. My brother was even escorted to the doctor when we couldn't be with him for his appointment. I was nervous about his care when my brother first went into CV Sheraton, because I was far away from him, but I think they have done an outstanding job helping him to recover, and we feel confident that soon he will be ready to go back home.
