The Rehabilitation Center at Sandalwood

After a hospital stay, my sweet Mom was (at the last minute), denied the ability to return to her assisted living facility (where she had resided for over 6 years), and we were left scrambling. After many phone calls and previewing quite a few (disappointing) LTC facilities in a 24 hour period, a family member recommended Sandalwood. I have to say, I was blown away by so many of the staff members. Mom only lived for a short time, but the staff worked hard to get to know her (and me), and her needs, quickly. Her room was clean and fresh, and we made it into a cozy environment very easily. There was always someone available to resource, and I never felt like I was a bother, even though our situation was quite desperate, and I was spending a lot of time there. Based on my/our experience, I would absolutely recommend this private, well-established LTC to anyone who has a cherished loved one.

My grandpa was recently at Sandalwood for rehab, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the nursing care and the therapy that he received during his stay. You can tell the staff is dedicated and truly cares about their guests and residents. If he needs rehab again, Sandalwood will be the only place that he goes.

My Dad loved Sandalwood. He did rehab three times here, and loved it every time. The staff was always super helpful, and they took great care of him.

The end of life care for my grandmother was fantastic, the staff was so caring and helpful throughout the whole process. They were so informative about the process afterwards as well. Everyone was so helpful.

We moved my sister to Sandalwood about 6 months ago. One is always skeptical of long term care. She had been to other places one good one horrible. From day one it has been a very good experience. The care, the facility, and the staff have been stellar. The nurses the CNA’s the kitchen staff, activities staff the maintenance staff, the general staff.
