The Physical Therapy Institute- Morningside

PTI is Amazing! Starting PT at Physical Tharepy Institute was both comforting & challenging due to severe pain and lack of use of my arm due to arthritis & injury. I was comforted to be in the expert hands of PT Meghan and also challenged each session to follow through and not give up. We made progress weekly and I came to appreciate the way Meghan tailored my therapy for my needs and accepted feedback, while maintaining rigorous standards and giving assurances that I would get better. I am at the end of my PT with full recovery and no pain. I can use my arm as before for all daily activities and best of all I can ballroom dance again. Thank you Meghan (and Dora & Kristen & Phil) who provide a safe and welcoming place to heal. Highly recommended! Jeanne F.

Megan, Dora and Phil are the best. They have created a warm and friendly atmosphere. They work together as a team to plan the best program for you. I have been going on and off for years and would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of therapy services.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here--I've worked primarily with Megan and I swear she's a miracle worker. My neck, back, and shoulders are feeling better than they've felt in years and I have a lot less pain and more function. Everyone I've interacted with here has been been so pleasant and helpful, and the overall vibe in the space is relaxed and friendly. I always get the sense that the staff truly care about what they do, and it comes through. Can't recommend it enough!!

Cannot say enough good things about my experience at PTI Morningside. Megan and the whole team took such great care of me, especially when my injury got more and more complicated and difficult to understand and treat. Megan worked extremely hard and creatively to get to the bottom of the problem well after many others would have thrown in the towel. Do not be deterred by the fact that their logo isn't on a tall building downtown!

Megan and her staff have been great! My surgeon says I'm considerably ahead of the curve. I owe it to them!

My experience at PTI has been great. Megan, Danny and their team have been such a good support system in getting me back on my feet and to the activities I enjoy. Each person I’ve encountered there has been knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I appreciate all the help I’ve received from them & glad I chose to go here.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this one was something I felt obligated to submit. It started out okay—Megan diagnosed me and prescribed treatment to follow. My insurance could cover each visit with minimal payment on my end. When they asked me how I would like to pay, I asked them to bill my insurance. However, with each subsequent visit, they pressured me to pay right now rather than keep billing insurance. I folded and paid my “outstanding balance”. This was my mistake. What followed was the discovery that I had grossly overpaid— I had paid what my insurance would have covered. They only discovered this after I prompted them to look at the ledgers. They offered me store credit for the portion I had overpaid, with the promise that they would reimburse me at the end for any amount I didn’t use. At the end of my final visit, I asked them for my money back. Rather than offering any kind of service, they simply handed me a cut out piece of paper to contact their billing department. They then proceeded to completely ignore me as I struggled on the phone to understand why I would not be receiving my money back. I had to ask them multiple times to receive a receipt but I am still waiting for my money. I am walking away wishing I hadn’t come to this establishment. Be warned—they will try to prematurely charge you and then do absolutely nothing to reimburse you for any amount overpaid.

I had the most amazing experience here! I am pregnant with my third child and I have a bulging disc in my lower back that was causing me so much pain and because I was pregnant I truly thought there was nothing that could help me and I was stuck in misery for months. But Megan created a plan for me that had me completely pain free in only a matter of weeks! She and everyone there are wonderful and I looked forward to my sessions each time. I am able to actually enjoy my pregnancy because of her. I know if I ever need help again this is the only place I will go. Cannot recommend Megan and this team enough!
