The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center

My name is Ms. Sylvia Swindell and I just can't sum PMR in just writing this review. This Rehabilitation Center did more than return me to a healthy and good way of life, For me it was determination and a positive emotional feeling that involves persevering towards a difficult goal in spite of obstacles. My Accident that I endured was unbelievable even to myself. it will be one year, Dec, 13 2023 to Dec. 13, 2024 Amazing....... Receptionist Desk--- Totaling Professional in every way, with the Patients. I take my hat off to them. They are the first ones you see. Helpful in every way. The affiliates that I saw at the beginning of my journey was Brayan Dagaraga - Lalaine Yap They push me to the limit and I thought, Oh my goodness. The faith that they had in me, I had to do it, Sebastian and John Two Gentle and respectful young men of assisting me with the Electric Stims on the left side of my Hip. Personality never Change, always smiles. Monika Dworakowski - Most Gentle and kind. Very caring asking me questions about how I was feeling. Telling me that I can do it. Even though I was experiencing pain, I had to go on. She expected that from me. Will miss her a lot. Marinela - This young lady is a gentle soul. She knows how to place the towels gentle on my right shoulder very caring and sensitive to your feelings. Dr. Rebecca Brown - My experience with her was wonderful. She understood my pain and me telling her about my experience during my time at the Rehabilitation Center and offered me any other help I needed. Just give her a call. My Diagnosis - Fell on 12/13 23, Break on my Right shoulder unable to move it - Left Ankle - Break on the Bone My records are on file. Thank God you were there and your remarkable staff. Ryan- Always with a smile on his face and very helpful. I wish him nothing but the best during his Educational Road. Always had the answers for me in anything I asked her about. She is able to accept the different personalities during the cost of her day without becoming annoyed or anxious. I have had a very positive experience working with Dr. Brown. Recently I had the opportunity to ask her a question about possible treatments for arthritis. She took the time to give me a thorough explanation of my options. I found her to be very patient and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the level of care she provides.

PMRC provides top-notch rehab services. I have been a patient sporadically over the past several years. Their physical therapists produce amazing results. The physicians create programs to suit your specific needs. I highly recommend it for those who need the services they provide.

Monika Dworakowski treated me at PM&R with Occupational Therapy for post-shingles PHN. A dedicated professional, Monika was attentive, compassionate, and highly skilled in her craft. She showed genuine concern for my progress and well-being, taking the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and provide emotional support when needed. The success I achieved in my rehabilitation is a direct result of Monika’s dedication and expertise. Her professionalism, skill and caring nature have seen me through to recovery. It was an enjoyable experience.

Monika and her amazing support staff worked with me twice a week for about two months. The quality of service, expertise and kindness was beyond my expectations. My appointments were always on schedule. I felt that I was in excellent care throughout my rehabilitation. Also, the facility is clean and they use state of the art equipment.

I have been to other physical therapy sites, including Burke rehabilitation. PMR is far superior to them all. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My therapist, Madeleine is very knowledgeable and caring. The gym staff is wonderful. They make sure you’re doing the exercises correctly. I feel that for the first time ever, my problems have been solved.

I saw Monika for OT for a few months after surgery for a fractured wrist. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. She was also very encouraging when I got frustrated. She and her intern even made a special splint to help my wrist extension. The office staff was very efficient.

Monika has been my OT and is an absolute wonder. She is caring and patient. Because of her, I am on the road to recovery! Harold is always there to be my cheerleader to achieve higher goals. The front office staff has always been helpful and courteous with my questions and setting up my crazy schedule. I have absolutely recommended PMR to others. The parking lot is an added perk.
