The Orthopaedic Group, P.C. - Therapy Clinic

My experience with The Orthopaedic Group’s doctor’s office was excellent. The experience at their PT office in Daphne was the exact opposite, and I would not recommend it. The primary issue was around billing – I asked both the nurse at the doctor’s office and the receptionist at the PT office, neither could give me any idea of what they would charge for services. My resulting bill was $136 for the evaluation and $180 for 15 minutes of service, which equates to an hourly rate of $720 for physical therapy. Moreover, I had to wait 10 minutes for my appointment to begin despite being on time and the only patient at the office. When I called to question the charge, I was insulted and then threatened with collections, at which point I had no choice but to pay in order to avoid impairment to my credit. Please don’t make my mistake - use another PT office that is transparent and fair in how they charge patients.

My first visit was great. They really listened well and targeted my therapy to exactly what I needed. I'm looking forward to the next appointment.
