The Orthopaedic Center Hazel Green - Physical Therapy

I've never had to do any kind of physical therapy before, and the professionals at the Hazel Green location of TOC made things super easy. They answered my questions, provided great advice, were friendly and, most important of all, helped me get better. I truly appreciate all of their efforts and I highly recommend this location if anyone is ever in need of physical therapy. Just a great group of people working here.

All therapists, staff and assistants are amazing! This is my 8th week of receiving therapy after a shoulder break and surgery. Each therapist is thorough and explains as well as models the exercise. The program is progressive, therefore the exercises vary depending on each person's individual progress and need. I always feel respected and receive the best care!! Thank you Hazel Green TOC!!

I'm at my wits end with these people. First, you never get to retain the same therapist throughout your sessions, so you're doing different things based on the therapists discretion. This is annoying and probably slows down on progress. Some put you on the hand pedal machine for an extended time, some don't use it at all. Couldn't tell that this device helped at all since it was so easy for me to do, so it felt like an easy way for the therapist to spend some easy idle time. My spouse ended up going to the VA for therapy for a frozen shoulder that TOC could not help with. The VA got it sorted out and used the same therapist throughout therapy. My progress with TOC was temporary at best. Then there's the billing fiasco... they seem to be slow to bill insurance, so any bills they may send do not reflect insurance payments. I have two insurance companies, so both have to do their part before I can pay. Once insurance paid, then they didn't send updated bills. Apparently there was about $500 worth of charges that were unpaid that I had no clue about. They sent the billing to EZEBilling, which had no detail for what the charges were for. I called them and they had no idea, other than the amount TOC sent to them. I called TOC a few times and had to leave messages due to long hold times, but never received a return call, so the bill goes to Fox Collection center. I finally get ahold of them today and they send me an incomprehensible list of charges for which I cannot determine what I actually owe. I parsed the list through Excel to make it clearer but nothing added up to what I supposedly owe, other than some random charges they sent to the collection agency. I can't even pay my bill on the TOC website at this point. Due to the amount I owe, it seems they exceeded what the insurance allowed and didn't tell me. If they had communicated with me and my insurance companies better, this would not have happen. Strangely, I have not experienced this kind of billing issue with the TOC doctor's office or any other medical professional I use. It's just this office, or the entirety of the TOC therapy centers. I can certainly afford to pay my bill, but talk to me before you send the bill to collections. If you experience these issues, don't say you weren't warned. I would avoid them if possible.

11/10, would let torture me again. (Kidding) Although my stay with TOC of Hazel Green isn't over, I've had nothing but incredible treatment from their entire staff. The receptionist Hannah always greets you kindly, and all the PTs there clearly are focused on getting you back to a normal life ASAP. They listen to your feedback, remember it for next time, and ensure they never push you too hard. While still proving a tough, yet exciting challenge. Of all the PTs who have helped me thus far, the one and only Britain has been my favorite hands down. Constantly pushing me to be my best, and making sure I never overwork myself seems to be the moto of the friends at this TOC location. Thank you all so much. <3

I've only come to 2 sessions so far, but everyone has been awesome! They are all super friendly, and make me feel right at home. They make sure I'm comfortable, but also gently push me to do more than I thought. I actually look forward to my PT sessions each week. Thanks for all you do!

This is my fifth week of Physical Therapy at TOC Hazel Green and I have enjoyed everyday I have attended. The people there are friendly; patient; and so very helpful. I now have three remaining weeks and I look forward to going and getting better with my injuries.

Visited TOC only 3 times so far, each visit was warm, welcoming and very supported of my recovery. The staff is like family concerned with your progress and encouraging you every step of the way. I would recommend this facility for anyone in the Merdianville and Hazel Green area.

I've been very pleased with the results of my therapy here at TOC Physical Therapy Hazel Green. My therapist was so nice and kind while she worked with me. I will choose to work with them in the future if I ever need physical therapy again.
