The Spero Clinic is life changing, my daughter suffered from Functional Neurolgical Disorder (FND) for 8 years she was only 13 and she went from a normal teenager to just existing in a life of unbelievable pain, allodinyia, seizures, not being able to walk and being very isolated from the world. We decided to come to the Spero Clinic as we had exhausted every avenue in the UK looking for answers and help and not finding any, my daughter was desperate and said to me on several occasions that she couldn’t go on living like this, which is heartbreaking to hear as a parent, I’m so happy we did, after completing 11 weeks it has given my daughter her life back, she arrived in a wheelchair and now she can walk, she is pain free, seizure free and has all feeling back in her arms, hands, legs and feet. We cannot thank all the amazing staff at the Spero Clinic enough they have been amazing and truly saved her life. I’ve watched so many people reclaim their life back while attending this clinic with my daughter, it really makes dreams come true and I will be forever grateful to everyone involved in my daughters journey, thank you all so much.

We just completed treatment at The Spero Clinic with our 13 year old daughter. We can say she is pain free after a 3 year journey. A year after our diagnosis we were referred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and completed their program. They worked to get our daughter’s function back but did not care about the pain. We left CHOP feeling like she would have to live the rest of her life with a 7/10 pain. We did not give up and kept looking until we found Spero. We arrived and after three weeks were given a 15 month estimate. After some ups and downs and 19 weeks of treatment our daughter is pain free and in remission. We are so thankful for The Spero Clinic and the staff. They were welcoming and the environment felt like family as we were all working towards the same goal of being pain free. I am a father of three girls and AD military. This was not an easy decision but worth the time and money we spent to get our daughter pain free.

I could not recommend The Spero Clinic highly enough. They literally gave me a second chance at life! Everyone there is extremely dedicated to getting the patients better. The staff is very talented and one of nicest groups of people you could meet. Before The Spero Clinic, I had been bed bound for fifteen years with full body CRPS. The last thirteen years, I was unable to do anything myself. I needed assistance with everything and I had to take an air ambulance to get to the clinic. Within the first few weeks, I was seeing changes and I knew that this was the place that was going to get me better. When I left the clinic, I was walking over a mile, working out with weights and most importantly, I could have a catch with my nephews! All the bone crushing pain that I had was completely gone! Eight months later I continue to do things that I had only dreamt of. I cannot thank everyone at The Spero Clinic enough for what they have done for me. My deepest thank you to the entire team. The Spero clinic has given my daughter her life back. The staff and patients become family. They celebrate the little wins just as much as the big ones. They never give up! Thank You will never be enough! What an amazing Christmas present, my daughter’s days are full of life!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Spero Clinic. I have seen with my own eyes the tremendous work they are doing. I have seen patients that have not walked in years racing their therapists in the parking lot. I was brought to tears witnessing more than one person taking their first steps. The Spero Clinic has saved my life not once but twice! They are the best in the world to treat CRPS and get you into remission! I have had CRPS for 9 years and now I have zero nerve pain! The Spero clinic changed my life, in all of the best ways possible. In December of 2023 I developed symptoms of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome after a simple surgery on my ankle. By February I was diagnosed and doctors told me it was unlikely I’d ever walk again. At 29 years old I was told by traditional medicine to accept life in a wheelchair, or consider getting a spinal cord implanted.. these options didn’t sit right right me and I researched everything and anything I could find about CRPS and stumbled upon the Spero Clinic. I started treatment in March of 2024, and graduated in July in full remission, 100% pain free, off all medications I was put on (that never helped anyways) and walking freely without any help or aids. Prior to graduation, I was even able to run, do box jumps, stairs, and even walk backwards. They didn’t just give me my “legs back” they gave me my life back and for that I am forever grateful. Their program is top notch. Every single employee was simply amazing, so determined to help me that day - whether it was reducing my pain, gaining mobility or function, or just checking in on me.. they’re all so knowledgeable about their specialty and they’re all SO kind and caring.
