When I came I was really sick. So I waited until I had to try to walk (which I can't) toj . It's been 2hrs now at 4am. Patients also go from 5pm to 8am without anything to eat. No respiratory therapist on board oxygen is provided For example, this Saturd>) 8 . My besMmvice is to go websites such as https://health.wusf.usf.edu/health-news-florida or seniorliving.com In other words, government related websites that regulate nursing homes. https://www.usnew.com. as for explaining my statements ; there are great staff here , mostly. I have made a quite a few amends ( which were very needed). It happens when you feel awful physically. Luckily I can speak up. Employees like Juju, Tracy , Jocelyn, Jessica, Victor, Junior, Lakkasha, Shanda are great. Management is a different story. Keeping in mind that this is a Business .PT is good . But if you need more intensity in PT (and better equipment) go to Encompass. Food is well.. just don't trust the menu you do NOT get 9??<8 choice of eggs, cereal etc .A new food director (Scott) is working on changing the food quality It is just a slow process from management.Food is an area that budget wise really matters for true healing. Totally different from what you see on the website menu...Plain scrambled eggs everyday. Maybe a hardboiled egg once a week and oatmeal everyday and cold. Food is NOT healthy. It would be nice to see mashed sweet potatoes once in awhile instead of mashed potatoes for example. you can't have cold coffee until breakfast at 8..bring your own snacks and drinks ( non perishable) as long as you are allowed to eat it . It's a LONG ! r .My only concern as a patient is that my physical problems including severe ??? you have to get your own transportation to appointments unless it's related to why you are there a friend has had a horrible toothache for months.I've yet to get a rescue inhaler. I did after 3 weeks. However ; if you have any other health issues I would definitely ask if they can be handI go regularly without my medications for 14 hours. For now I am getting ready for puppy Tuesday and making Juneteenth posters trying to be positive. The activities are great if they happen but you have to ask A LOT of questions ( meaning the family does) to find out anything. CNAs have their hands full if your family member is inconent . Rena (Hoppy) is the best .and Lakkosha is always fun. They all have hard jobs. Marie and Sue are amazing night nurses is as is Leonard and Eves.Jessica is the real deal and Jr. Is great in PT. Robin in PT has gotten me thru a lot here as has destiny. Just be sure you are able to have someone come and take home patients laundry. Label everything .Several of mine 'disappeared' with no offer to replace and I am not alone. The bottom line is that if your parent is declining mentally is that they won't be able to give you an accurate idea of what is going on.I went on Quora and read the most well written reason people are indecisive with limited resources. I 've given 2 stars because I've seen an a lot of effort being made to make this facility great. Rena deserves to be the head CNA . She is dedicated, loving, and never have I seen her not happy at work. Destiny was here last night until 11:30 at least! The bottom line is give staff support and hopefully they will can get some more money put into the food issues such as equipment.whichi is being done!!!! Employees here for the most part are full of love and grace and do what they can. There have been great improvements!!!!

A good friend of mine has been there for four months, the entire staff has always been responsive and caring. Especially Ashley C, I can tell it's not just a job for her, she truly cares about the patients.

Therapist excellent! Whole team is so nice. Destiny the Social Services director goes above and beyond in every interaction I've had with her (on my loved ones behalf). She gets 10 stars from me! Very pleased with this facility.

The Meadows Center is just the right place for our father who is 89 with Alzheimer's disease. The staff are very caring and very proactive in making sure the Residents get out of their room each day for entertainment and meals. Our father has put on 10 lb's since he arrived. He was previously in the Indian Beach Nursing & Rehab in Sarasota which turned out to be one of the worst facilities I have seen. So happy we were able to get him out quickly and into the Meadows Center.

My husband was recently a patient at the Meadows nursing and rehab facility. He went straight from the hospital to the rehab using their transportation. It was a smooth transition and his room was clean and waiting for him. The really wonderful part of his stay there was the staff. Without exception every staff member that he interacted with was so kind and helpful. He got wonderful care there and i felt that he was well taken care of. I
