The Lotus Tree

We have been taking our 8-month-old daughter to The Lotus Tree Sensory Integration Center for occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy, and feeding therapy, and our experience has been outstanding. The team at The Lotus Tree is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing the best care for our little one. The therapists are not only highly skilled but also truly care about their patients' progress and well-being. They've created a warm, welcoming environment that puts both parents and children at ease. Our daughter has shown significant improvements in her developmental milestones thanks to their tailored approach and expertise. The communication from the staff is excellent, keeping us well-informed about our daughter's progress and any recommendations for continued care at home. We are so grateful for the positive impact The Lotus Tree has had on our daughter’s development and highly recommend their services to any parents seeking comprehensive, compassionate care for their children.

Their laziness and lack of integrity in billing almost affected my credit score. In Sept 2024 they sent me and email claiming they had sent "monthly bills" for my son's service in October 2023 and that if I did not respond immediately they would REFER ME TO COLLECTIONS. I hope your credit score is worth it, ya'll. The idea that I ignored 8 or 9 bills for a service I didn't need with a cost that matched the cost of 4 Dutch Brother's coffees, is absolutely absurd. They did not bill me and never called. Melissa confirmed my address, so they had it right the entire time. When I told Melissa I didn't appreciate the threat of collections when they have never tried to reach me, she said it "wasn't a threat" and she was "just trying to assist me", then claimed she had "just" left me a voicemail that morning (I had no voicemail from her that day or ever) before hanging up the phone on me. I like how she was the one bothered when it was my credit score on the line, all due to their lack of integrity. Just send me a bill and I will pay. Call me any time of the day or night and tell me it is due (or actually leave a voicemail if I don't answer), and I will pay. It's not that complicated. It's not that hard to get your money without putting someone's credit on the line, if you just do your job right the first time. Or any of the 9 times you claim to have done it but did not.

We loved working with Kathy for our daughter's feeding concerns. She was caring and knowledgeable. We miss her now that things have resolved. Everyone we encountered was really friendly and the atmosphere clean and calm. Thanks Lotus Tree!

I took my infant daughter here to see Kathy for craniosacral therapy following a lip and tongue tie revision. The staff was welcoming and Kathy was great with my daughter (who was around 6-8 weeks old during these appointments and always seemed relaxed when Kathy worked with her). Kathy even squeezed us in for a lunchtime recheck when my daughter had a setback in her recovery. The location is far from us, but worth the drive. Wish it were closer so we could drop in for the tummy time classes!

Although the staff, environment and intentions of helping mothers with new babies is wonderful here, we had a difficult time. With all the help they did offer us, my newborn son was presenting with more difficulties and zero improvement. At some point, I wish they would have said, "You need more help than what we can provide. Please seek out a pediatric specialist or ENT." My son was later diagnosed with a "floppy airway" and ended up having surgery on it AND his tongue and lip tie at 4 months old. No amount of PT or Lactation consulting would have helped him. I tried everything- my baby was struggling for air and could not coordinate feedings! I feel like we wasted a lot of time. To add to the great care that you do provide here, my advice would be: Please be aware of the families and children who need further medical help. Please be knowledgable on signs of "laryngomalacia"(and other airway malacias) so you can point desperate mothers in the right direction as soon as possible! Kathy was extremely helpful though in helping me and my baby find other ways to stay calm and soothed. I was very grateful for that!

I wish we would have found the Lotus Tree years ago! The staff is incredible and truly seem to connect with my son. We are so happy here and have seen so much growth in him since enrolling at the Lotus Tree! We highly recommend the Lotus Tree!

The Lotus Tree has been a wonderful resource for my family. Their OTs and PTs have done amazing work with all of my children and me. I would recommend them to anyone with complex breastfeeding issues and those who have kids with sensory needs.

Kathy is amazing and I wish we could take her home with us. Her soothing vibe she brings to the room puts all of us to sleep after our apt. I could t be happier with the work she has done for us!
