Patrick and Gabby were great in helping me feel supported and cared for throughout my PT journey at Jackson Clinics. I made a lot of progress with my issue and they were so helpful and skilled throughout the process. The front desk staff were always so welcoming to walk into. Every time I walked into the clinic, I felt cared for and comfortable. I was always listened to and taken seriously about my concerns. Thank you so much to the team! :)

I had extensive back pain from sitting in a office chair all day, but after three months of hard work, I feel so much better! Cris Fedalizo worked with me every step of the way, and I'm prepared to keep up with my new exercise routine to get stronger every day! Highly recommended if you put in the work to improve your physical and mental health!

I have been a patient at Jackson Clinic Shirlington several times over the last few years. The most recent one started in May for 2 months with Liz Signorelli for a hip injury. It was an amazing experience to go from hardly walking (and one stair at a time) to full recovery including long walks and stairs with no problem. I could not be more pleased with the attention, advice and encouragement I received along the way. I recommend Liz, Guillemette (certified trainer) and Jackson every chance I get!

I went to Jackson Clinic for a shoulder problem. That's where I met Cris, who would bring my shoulder back to being functional. He spent quality time manipulating my shoulder to identify where the problem was. After identifying the source, he spent quality time working to get rid of my problem. He was efficient and effective. Plus, he was delightful to talk to. I would highly, without reservation, recommend Cris to help you with whatever problem you have.

I had a great time working with Cris Fedalizo on improving my pelvic floor health. He does great work with male clients and helped me work through a gym related injury to my pelvic floor. He helped me understand the injury clearly and worked with me on a personalized physical therapy routine to help me recover.

I visited the Jackson Clinic in an effort to avoid knee surgery and/or prepare my knee for surgery. For most of my time there, Dr. Alex Kim was my physical therapist. Alex is very capable, encouraging, patient, and understanding. Thanks to Alex, I am hopeful that I may be able to avoid surgery altogether. However, if it turns out that surgery is in my future, and if I follow Alex’s instructions, I’ll be ready (as ready as can be). I recommend Alex without reservation. I would add that I appreciate the skills and the efforts of all those who worked with me at Jackson Clinic.

I've been coming to Jackson Clinics in Shirlington for the past several months and I could not be happier with the treatment I received. I worked primarily with with John van Koetsveld as my PT who was great. Attentive, professional and funny. Listened to my weekly complaints and helped me get back to where I wanted to be!I He also did some dry needling on me which I was nervous about at first but he put my mind at ease and I believe it helped me greatly. l also worked Nicole Graves as my exercise specialist and she was fabulous also. JC Shirlington has a wonderful team. Highly recommend!

I was seen at the Jackson Clinic in Arlington, VA for approx. two months for a total of 15 visits, for pain in my hamstrings and glutes. I was not pleased with the experience and will not be returning. The following was my personal experience at the Arlington, VA location. Much of the equipment is filthy and obviously not cleaned on a regular basis. While the staff does give a cursory wipe down of the beds, the accumulated dirt on the exercise balls and other equipment is readily apparent. The staff is not focused enough on their patients. They are distracted with their own personal issues and seem to interact with other staff members as much as the patients. This results in them losing track of each person's progress. They treat the people needing help as a mere distraction from their own personal routine. This is more of a management (or lack thereof) problem, as anything else, because this attitude is embedded in the culture of this office. In my experience, it feels more like a social club for the employees rather than a serious physical therapy office geared to the customers. i.e, despite the fact they ask you what music you prefer to listen to when you first get there, the "music" they insist on playing is for them, not the patients. I found it annoying and offensive. So much so, I had to leave early on my last appointment. No music would be my preference to what they're playing in that office. I heard this complaint from other patients as well. NEWSFLASH: Some people do not like fake, electronically produced, bass heavy, autotuned "music". After approx. a dozen sessions, my therapist (Cris) gave me the inevitable upsell; dry needling. He suggested this treatment, similar to acupuncture, to relieve my pain, which wasn't getting any better. He noted there would be a "co-pay" of $50 per session. What he meant was a PAY, not a co-pay. After I declined the treatment, he said it would be best for me to see another therapist. I interpreted this as an attempt at extortion. As if he was so valuable as a therapist, I would relent and pay him so he would continue to see me. I can assure you he was absolutely nothing of the sort. Another minor annoyance was the lack of a bathroom or changing area in the office. You have to use the community bathroom down the hall, shared by the rest of the building. It can be a little awkward changing from street clothes to work-out clothes in the stall of a bathroom. I was not able to use the on-line patient portal because in order to access it I had to agree to use arbitration for any disputes. Since I was not willing to give up my rights to a paid for and ultimately one-sided arbitrator, I was prevented from using it. Instead, I had them print out the exercises on paper. I am using these at home in an environment that is far more conducive to my health than any in-Office therapy sessions at this place. Yes, the staff is certainly friendly and cordial. They SHOULD be. Everything is geared toward them and their schedule. But that doesn't make up for the many flaws with this business. There are other, more professional PT's out there. I recommend avoiding this location.
