I had a pretty darn nice time learning to walk, exercise & just be human again! The staff is second to none as being very attentive, helpful & knowledgeable about their jobs! They all knew exactly how to take care of me & I seriously appreciated that. I was scared & not in any mood to be there... I wanted to go home. The staff made me feel very welcome, did an awesome job helping me walk again & were just just all around great! The only issue I had was the food left a lot to b desired... my opinion only. I lost weight because I just couldn't eat so much of the dinners especially. I ordered a lot of jello, cottage cheese & fresh fruit, ice cream & chips to fill the hunger gap. Thank you to everyone for such a great experience. I hope if I ever have a need to return, I definitely would in a heartbeat! Thank you to everyone who helped make me almost whole again!!!

This review is important to me because as I was looking for a place for my mom to rehab after a spinal fusion I read many reviews. This is a wonderful facility, all of the staff are kind, compassionate, and patient. They all were very attentive and accommodating. They allowed me or one of my sisters to stay with her while she was there (we brought our own blow up mattress) they were helpful in making sure we had everything we needed as well. Physical and occupational therapy were high quality and mom was discharged sooner than we thought because she had progressed so quickly. Very nice, clean facility. Food was good and they were very accommodating, my mom is a picky eater and likes everything very plain and bland and they met her every request. Guests are able to purchase a meal for $6. They had activities like bingo and movie nights to keep residents entertained during their stay. Very nice outdoor areas and plenty of space for visiting if you have families or groups that come to visit. Thank you to all who work to make this place a safe and comfortable place for those who need care.

The good reviews must be for another part of the facility. I will avoid this place for inpatient rehab if at all possible in the future. My dad was sent to rehab for acute care post open heart surgery. He was confused the first 1-2weeks he was there and needed more attentive care. I expected them to push him in PT/OT from the start and my very first conversation with his PT reflected that. Outside of his scheduled time with PT/OT, they didn't do much with him. Slow progress the first month even though he left the hospital already working on transfers. My biggest complaint is that they lost a personal medical device and didn't do anything to rectify it. He arrived from the hospital with 2 hearing aids that were needed for all conversations. Within the first week of his arrival there, they lost his right hearing aid. I was visiting every other day at a minimum and noticed it immediately. I spoke with the charge nurse, social work, and administration. They documented that it was missing but did nothing about it. Hearing aids are expensive, and it was their responsibility to keep track of both of them. He was discharged over 3 months later, and there is still no effort to provide replacement or discount for getting a new exam and hearing aid. He also told me that once his discharge date was set, they did little to clean his room, and his bed linen was not changed for almost 2 weeks. There are other things that upset me about his stay there, such as no communication when a new diagnosis was made, correct updates on his progress in his notes that they based decisions on and disappearance of other personal property. Overall, I did like the PT/OT staff, and so did he.

Visited my friend today. Beautiful location, residents having a view of the front range mountains incl Pikes Peak, and roomy parking for visitors. Friendly staff to help me checkin as a visitor and direct me to the resident room. Clean and spacious hallways, recreational room, and physical therapy room. Clean and spacious resident room with cable TV and adjustable bed. Overall a very warm and welcoming home facility.

I stayed at the Resort immediately after my surgery, it was such a great experience. The folks there really do care about you getting to be the best version of yourself you can be. Thank you again for the care I received!

Upon my arrival the CNAs and the nursing staff assisted me to my room with very professional kindness. Then as I started my PT and OT, Lester and Maddie really helped me improve my balance my stability and my confidence. The CNAs, Andi Sharon,Sandra, in so many more that I can't remember we're so kind and patient with me I would recommend this place for anyone needing to heal and for rehab

DEPLORABLE! I had 2 broken legs, 2 broken wrists 1 - They assured me they had the adaptive equipment I would need, they didn't. 2 - They assured a certain type of room, it wasn't available. 3 - After hours of runaround I needed to use the toilet. The hospital had taught me how to do this on my own. The Resort refused to let me to do so. THEY THREATENED TO STRIP ME AND PUT ME IN A SLING if I didn't do it their way. 4 - My dad had to stand guard at the bathroom door so I could urinate. 5 - The head of PT was PROFOUNDLY DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL. 5 - Thank goodness I had family with me who get me out of there.
