The Grove Health & Rehabilitation Center

Very friendly and warm atmosphere, the moment I walked through the doors. I was met with a smile from the front desk receptionist. She was so helpful. I went in for an interview for a housekeeping position and met with Michael, the housekeeping supervisor. He was super nice and organized. Definitely one of the most pleasant interviews I've had in a long time!

The Grove has a very caring and concerned staff. The administration is very different. They are rarely available and renege on their responsibilities. My husband was dropped by an aide who should have called for a second person to assist. This was verified by 2 other employees. He hit his head and had to be transported to an emergency facility. When it was time for him to return to the Grove, I was told by the transport service that I would have to pay. The next day I explained this to the administrator and he assured me that the Grove would reimburse me. After waiting about three weeks, I had a lawyer call him to ask about the payment. Because I did that, he refused to pay me…shut down the whole episode, perhaps intimidated by a legal professional.I was tired of dealing with this reprehensible individual, so I let it go , but I have not forgotten . Actually my rating is NO STARS,

The staff was very concerned for the health of the patients and the visitors. Everything was very well advertised as to cleaning your hands and masks. Receptionist was very pleasant and helped me to find the person I was going to see. Once there, the staff, although they had their hands full as others, Was very helpful and pleasant. The improvements being made are wonderful.

The Grove is a really nice facility. It is clean, neat and organized. The best part of my stay there was the staff. They are the most efficient, friendly & caring group of people you could ever hope for…..everyone……..the people who made sure the room was sparkly clean, the girls in the offices, the numerous aides and all the nurses. A great crew!!

The cheerful staff made my Christmas visit with my cousin very memorable especially the warm efficient front counter check in rep on Dec 8 2022. CNA Nomi and Gary are a treasure to the residents and make the daily things seem fun. It was festively decorated with numerous tastefully decorated trees and decorations 🎄 The large dulcimer band entertainment in the dining hall was fabulous. The outside courtyard where we had lunch was very well kept and the maintenance stopped by to say hi and even took our trash told them they may want to put a big trash can out there 🎁 I look forward to coming back to visit Joyce at the Grove and wish all administration and staff a very Merry Christmas and blessed 2023 from Tallahassee Florida.

Overall I am pleased with the care my Mom received during her stay. I've had repeated problems with the laundry service. She has clothes missing and when there are no clothes in the closet, she stays in her gown. One time her roomate was wearing one of my Mom's outfits. Her clothes had labels on them with her name. She has 2 pair of slacks still missing; possibly in someone else's room.

I am very impressed with this Rehabilitation facility. From the arrival of my wife after her hospital stay, to now has been great. The staff here is great, and I know that my wife is being properly cared for. If your loved one needs to visit a rehab place this is the one.

Increase lighting illumination in common areas, including corridors. Make it easier for guests to sign-in for visiting patients, at the entrance area. Increase staff knowledge when patients are out of their assigned rooms for patient activities.
