My brother was at the Gardens for a few months. He was well cared for mentally and physically. We knew he didn't have long to live, but the staff ensured all his needs were met including PT, OT, hygiene, medication, transportation for many appointments, and informing me of how to best help him. The nurses, CNAs, and all staff care deeply for the residents. I was also impressed by their financial management to help my brother qualify for medicaid support. I can't say enough about "the small facility with the big heart." Thank you for making his final days comforting.

It's an old place not super fancy but the staff there treat me and my dear friend Charlotte that lives there so great.. I wish I could remember thier names ..They are so sweet and definitely go the extra mile to make her happy..

Do not send your loved ones here. My mother's short stay at this facility has only complicated her rehabilitation. The case workers were very unpleasant.

Good Christian people. I conducted church services for 7. It was good to be there as they enjoy the singing.

If I could give The Gardens 10 stars I would! My mother has been a full time resident there for three years and it's been such a wonderful experience for her and our entire family. All of the residents get so much love and attention, not just from the nursing staff, but from everyone that works there. From the lunchroom staff to the maintenance department, they all take time to talk to the residents and make them feel special. Another thing that is so outstanding is how well the staff works together and how much they like each other. They absolutely love what they do and they love doing it together. On the physical/therapy side....You just can't get better nursing care!

I have only been visited there a couple of times, but from what I've seen, the staff is very patient with my wife, and they are all so friendly and knowledgeable. The place is also much nicer than the numeros rehab centers I've worked at over the years! Thanks.

I have a relative that is in this care facility. I am impressed with how they manage her health care needs and provide all other living requirements from meals, laundry, activities, etc. She is always happy. She has only good things to say about the staff and her time at the facility. When I visit in person or virtually for periodic health care reviews the staff outlines the history and plan for her health care needs. They cover all the issues completely and seek feedback from me and my relative. Before COVID 19, I could go into the facility. The staff was pleasant to me and the residents the entire time I was in it. I observed them going out of their way to help and assist persons in the building. I am very happy my relative is a resident of this facility and I never worry about her health and safety.

Mom first went to The Gardens to recover from a cardiac event experienced at another facility. Mom's recovery was handled expertly and she moved back to her home. When she fell and broke her hip it was an automatic yes to rehab again at the Gardens. She made a full recovery but as time progressed it became a natural transition for her to move to The Gardens permanently. There are many good reasons for that decision: - I've seen many of the same staff and caregivers at The Gardens over more than six years, and that says a lot in an industry known for turnover. - The fact that mom had two full recoveries proves they know what they are doing. - Every activity and service mom could be interested in is available in a smaller setting. - The location is convenient and quiet and while it is an older facility, it is exceptionally well maintained. - Several of the care givers have taken the extra time to form a relationship with mom. She can be a handful and I really respect them for that! I am able to visit weekly and proper COVID precautions are observed. - I get regular calls about mom's health and well-being, and sleep well at night knowing she is receiving the care she needs. - Mom even compliments the food, and she made cooking and teaching culinary arts her career. - Mom is almost 90 now, and The Gardens helper her get enrolled with a competent hospice now that that care level is appropriate. We owned a senior care business and had experience with a large number of rehab and residential facilities in the Colorado Springs area. I've never seen as good results at any of the newer, fancier, pricier facilities available, and they felt more like facilities than home. Mom is in the best place we could find for her, and my experience tells me The Gardens would be right for your mom (or dad) too!
