My husband and I are both seeing Spencer for different injuries. A few weeks ago, I had an extremely painful herniated disk in my lower back. I was unable to bend down, walk well, and really, just live a life of being a mom. It was miserable to say it best. I met with Spencer and was worried the movement would be painful, yet Spencer moved slowly and encouraged me each inch I was able to move. He eased my fears and made me eager to return. Now, for my husband. He's an avid bowler and injured his elbow from repeated throwing and rotating. He's a large man that didn't believe in PT and thought it would just get better on his own. After my visits with Spencer, I convinced him to try for himself. The first visit, Spencer massaged right on his pain points and gave him a very customized pain plan. My husband felt amazing after just one visit and has been back several times since. I believe your pain can get better with Spencer's help. If you're a mom like me that desires an active life or a person that is skeptical like my husband, I would encourage you to try time with Spencer.

After I fractured my ankle in two places I was sure that I was about to lose all of my fitness progress from the past few years, but I can confidently say I’m stronger now than ever before my injury . Even from the start of my ankle rehabilitation, Dr. Spencer was proactive in not only treating my ankle to improve the healing process, but also considering where I wanted to be when I recovered. Now 5 months after I am back to hiking and feel great! Highly recommend this place for physical therapy

As someone who's been to several physical therapists over the years, both from sports related injuries and maintenence of chronic illness symptoms, I'm feeling better and making more progress than I ever have in all the years I've been seeking help for my various issues. I had at one point given up on getting my issues addressed fully, and my lack of progress had me put off from seeking physical therapy as a solution at all. I'm very well versed in human movement and mobility as my career has been in coaching and physical fitness for over a decade, so I figured I'd be okay taking care of it myself. Life circumstances changed and I finally sought help after my knee had began to wear out and my existing pain and musculoskeletal issues got worse as I aged, and so I decided to reach out to the Fitness Lab. Working with Spencer has been a gamechanger for me! I really appreciated his holistic and individualized methods as someone who'd tried lots and lots of fixes over the years, but never felt like I could grasp the bigger picture. He sees the issues as a whole and addresses pain and mobility as part of a system. Highly recommend! Especially for folks who have hit a dead end dealing with their pain or other limiting conditions.
