Outwardly the farm is beautiful (everything you'd want for your child). This is not reality. There are no children in the garden. No animals. Staff turnover is surreal. My son had 25-28 different Rbts from march 1st.-December 1st going only 4 hrs a day. And if you know ABA, the damage it does to your child is irreversible. If your child is deemed unfixable they will be isolated. Our family has been with pediatrics plus since my son was 2 1/2 - 7. We've attended (Sherwood, Little Rock, & the Farm). Little Rock is ultimately why we ended up at the farm due to an abuse case where a lawyer was involved. Pediatrics plus is for profit. That is it. & if you know the logistics in running an organization like this you'd understand the fragility & how human life will always be the cost. Specifically; in regards to the overhead. If you find yourself in meetings with Michelle or Ashley the directors just know that is the point if you have not already to bring in a disability advocate to EVERY SINGLE MEETING. Every communication should be in email as they will lie. & if your child is placed on any sort of dismissal that is also the time in which you obtain a disability lawyer. Many work pro bono and I've meet many who are well aware of pediatric plus. My son was placed on a dismal plan, never hit the criteria for him to be dismissed yet he was. Your child is their client, every single individual works for your child. I cannot say how it will end as our family has chosen not to pursue anything. We had already planned to relocate the following month, but I hope this helps if you feel in your heart the Farm is the place for your child. Sending you all light & love, I know how hard it is. I get it & I stand in solidarity. Helpful tips. - File a grievance against pediatrics plus - the farm (HR will have a specific form for this) - If discrimination is involved file complaint with EEOC - Become familiar with disability advocates & lawyers
