The Doleys Clinic

Dr Kelsey is cool and all but if there are any discrepancies with drug test or anything he won't say a word about it. Therefore, if you don't know, you cannot even beging to explain as to why. My levels were apparently not correct and one of my DTs was off. No one told me until FOUR MONTHS LATER. They continued to fill my prescriptions. Then some very snarky, woman called me, Pam... And accused me of doing METH and FENTANYL!!! She told me to come to the office the following day to re-test. I did, she comes in the room and hands me a dismissal sheet. And REFUSED TO RETEST ME. And discharged me. My husband then called the owner because I was SOBBING because I had JUST gotten my job back and back on my feet from dealing with debilitating pain that TOOK MY FRIGGIN LIFE FROM ME!!! ONLY THEN DID THEY SEND MY DRUG SCREEN OFF FOR FURTHER TESTING. NOTHING WAS IN MY SYSTEM EXCEPT FOR MY PRESCRIPTION MEDS. The owner apologized. But after that, nope. I won't go back. Pam is NOT nice. They REFUSE to admit that they're human beings too and make mistakes. I understand they have to be tough but they don't have to be HATEFUL and ASSUME EVERYONE IS AN ADDICT. If you're a patient here, just please be careful and have a back up plan in case Pam decides to get a wild hair one day and ruin your life. I will say that Dr. Kelsey's nurse is the ONLY person in that clinic who is kind. She had no problem answering any questions, or just hearing me out with my concerns. It's a shame that office is bringing her down. I pray she finds a Doctors office who will appreciate her and give her the respect she deserves. Thanks

My name is actually Lisa Zopfi-Houston Bambi is my nickname. I am a pump patient and Dr Doleys has bent over backwards to keep me my pain level down. I have a very unusual situation and have been through alot since coming to the Doleys Clinic. I really really feel he cares. Anne my pump nurse has been a life saver. As a retired nurse myself I have never met a nurse that cares more than she does. No matter what struggles she has gone through in her own life she never EVER let it show in her day to day. Since Dr Hill has left it has been more difficult for them, however both of them are trying so hard to help their patients, even if it means staying until all hours of the night.I may have to leave due to insurance issues and it breaks my heart. I have grown to feel like my pain team has become part of my family. I don't know if I will get the amount of true love and care that I receive from Dr Doleys and Anne. Please believe me when I tell you they really really care!!!!!!!

Update May 2024- I am no longer a patient due to Dr. Hill retiring so information below may be outdated. The clinic did try to help me find another physician in the area- None of those worked for me but I was able to transition to another provider without trouble. This has been an amazing and wonderful experience with pain management. I was at a different clinic previously and was being backed into a corner to agree to a procedure for my rare condition. I was not comfortable with this and many other things and decided to seek a second opinion. I chose the Doleys clinic since I was seeing one of their pain psychologists already and I am so glad I decided to see Dr. Hill. He has truly treated my pain management plan like a collaboration. He listens to my story, seeks to understand my rare diagnosis, and we work TOGETHER to decide on my plan of care. I am not pressured into procedures I am not comfortable with. So far, my pain management plan is working and giving me my life back. Thank you so very much for treating me with respect and as a trustful adult.

I have been going to Dr Dolays clinic for 30years, I was a total mess before coming to the clinic. After they got me where I should be , I have lived a better life , thanks to them . You are treated like a human and your pain is their pain !! They take time to listen to my needs , and they do everything possible to make my life better . Being disable is no fun and games , it changes your whole life , but you have to make the most of it , and learn to live with it , Uplift has been a God send to me , before I may have only gotten a few hours sleep, but now I take it and sleep like a baby !!! Thanks Nick & Dr Dolays for your concern for me and my pain!!!! The staff is great and Ms Ann is wonderful, she listens and cares to all my needs !!! Please continue to take care of me, so I can be as normal as I can !!!!

If I had to post a review prior to Dr. Hill’s retirement, it would have been 5 stars. Since Dr. Hill left, I have been reduced in my pain medication that I have been taking since 2011. I’ve never ran out before it was due, never had to use Narcan, never had been rushed to a hospital or overdosed. It is because the DEA now has become my doctor. First it was Dr. CDC and now it is Dr. DEA. For those of you, staff and patients, who would like to be well informed of the patients struggles, please join pain groups on Facebook. At least there are some physicians that will fight against this atrocity. Although my last name shows up as Rawlins on Facebook, it is Townsend. Please check some groups out. There are many that try to fight the government from becoming our physicians.

Sending me to The Doleys Clinic was one of the best things my physician has done for me. I have experienced only positive, professional interactions with any of the staff with whom I have had the pleasure of dealing. I have been treated courteously, and with kindness & compassion. I feel as though any concerns I present are heard and all reasonable efforts are made to address them. One thing that is great is that I have very rarely EVER had to wait for more than thirty (30) minutes, if even that long, to be seen. I am deeply grateful for all of you at The Doleys Clinic. I have been a chronic pain patient for many years and The Doleys Clinic is one of the best pain clinics I have ever encountered. The staff has been very helpful. Dr. Hill is very compassionate and understanding. He works hard to understand your concerns and help you achieve your goals and give you the best quality of life he can. Dr. Dolce listens well and explains thoroughly his thoughts about your care. I feel Blessed to have found The Doleys Clinic!

I've lived with Chronic Pain for 21 years. It not only affects you physically, it affects you mentally and emotionally. It affects your family and everything you do in your life. I have been a patient at the Doleys Clinic for a little more than 7 years. I have always received Amazing Care from the doctors there. Dr. Doleys is an Amazing, Caring, Compassionate doctor. That has an abundance of resources to the best medical doctors in Alabama. I am truly blessed to have such a Great Team at the Doleys Clinic taking care of me.
