Saw Dr. Sherman, have a injury that needs surgery. These docs all own the Surgery Center in Hagerstown. The center changed my surgery time 3 times within 2 days! They call and leave a message, only my phone carrier is glitching due to a merge, I never get the message! They don’t ask for a confirmation or even care if you get the message . I call the day if my surgery ( because they were closed for the 3 day weekend) and the time they put me at, I couldn’t get a ride! I tell them this and they are like, we left you two messages, I kept saying I didn’t get them, but they said, I know this nurse, she wouldn’t lie, I said ok, well I also know I’m not lying! Regardless we need to move my time back. They were rude. My husband gets on the phone and says my wife needs this surgery you all need to work this out or I will come down there work it out in person. They didn’t like that and put me on hold saying they needed to call Dr. Sherman to find out . She comes back and says Dr. Sherman says he won’t do your surgery and you need to find another Surgeon!! Completely unprofessional! No negotiation skills. No patient care. Arrogant and Rude! Find another practice! I work for a surgeon and this response was ridiculous!!

I had to place 4 of 5 stars because I had a wonderful experience here as a patient of Dr. Scott's. (He is awesome!!) However, I have to disagree with their statement of treating CRPS. I would have to suggest that if you are diagnosed with CRPS/RSD , as I am, you will be advised to get a spinal cord stimulator as a patient here. I STRONGLY suggest that you do more research as these doctors are not CRPS experts and there are less evasive treatments. Dr. Scott had informed me that I was his first CRPS/RSD patient and I truly believe that he cares and he certainly believes that the Spinal Cord Stimulator is the best treatment. Just know that there are other options and self-awarenss and knowledge is key to this disease. Research this for yourself...this is a complicated disorder and you are your best advocate.

I’ve been going there for six years and have had four joints replaced and had spine surgery. I have received excellent care from all involved with my cases. ♥️
