The Center For Pain - Auburn/Opelika

I have been going to The Center for Pain for almost 3 years. The ladies up front are always so nice. I've had several procedures done in the office with good results, although temporary. I did not like having to go to a pain clinic to manage my pain. I thought it was for people who abused the system. However, I feel comfortable and enjoy talking to the other patients. Everyone tries to make you feel welcomed. If you have to go to a pain clinic, The Center for Pain is a good one!

Highly recommend Dr. Ware and the nurse practitioners! They are sensitive and caring regarding your pain and try to help you as much as possible. The office staff are also very professional, personable and caring. They have worked on their wait times as well. UPDATE November 2024- Nurse practitioner was excellent! She quickly realized what the problem was and remedied it! HOWEVER, this time the front office workers were not professional. I asked the office staff where I should stand, where she directed me meant I waited at least 45 minutes longer than those who came in AFTER me. This was an aberration I hope as the sweet receptionist who is usually there was not.

Dr. Katz and the staff are nice. They do their jobs and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I had a situation on a previous visit and the staff was helpful and the front desk came and checked in on me the next day. So it's what you make of it. We're all in some type of pain, we just mange the best we can. Thank you 😊 Be nice and smile 😃

Front desk was Awesome and polite when speaking with me. Very helpful. My PA she’s always Educating me on my medication and going through my pain medication with me concerning the pros and cons what things I should be looking for concerning my pain and improvements. The Back Office is also great they make sure that my appointment is within a time I’m comfortable with. Thanks to my Dr. D. Herrick he’s the best also showing concern for his patients. He LISTENS TO ME AND GIVES ME THE BEST MEDICAL CARE. Thanks KLR

I’ve been a patient at the Center for Pain for over two years. I really want to praise the excellent care. The staff are very friendly and very competent. Dr. Herrick oversees my pain plan and I then work with his team. Some of us have complex situations that don’t always get better. When this happens, the kindness of the staff and their ability to at least hear my concerns really helps.

Great people with excellent care but the last star was knocked off because it usually takes 2 to 3 or more times as long to get out the checkout side with next Appointment as it does waiting to and being seen by the Nurse and or Dr. Has to be some way to get that part figured out. It seems they finally got the kinks worked out of getting your labs done. At least it has gone better than usual the last 2 or 3 visits anyhow.

Although I wish I did not need this clinic, unfortunately I do. I have had good experiences with both Dr Herrick and his nurse practitioners, the front office is very friendly and checking out was quick and easy. Dr Herrick was my mom’s Dr years ago when I worked for a Dr. that treated his mom. Time marches on though.

I've been at The Center For Pain a short while, however the team there makes me feel like part of a family. They greet me with a smile each time and if I have any questions, I need only to ask. My nurse explains everything so I can understand. My experience has been great even though I have issues. Thanks, Center For Pain
