The Blossoms at Newport Rehab & Nursing Center

The nurse left a patients medicine on his bedside table and didn't stay and make sure he took it. That is not ok. That's a state violation. Some should really make sure they have people working here that can do their jobs.

They left medication on a patients counter without making sure he took them. And they didn’t notice a blood clot that caused him to have to go to the hospital and get his whole foot removed. They need to pay more attention to their patients. If I could give zero stars I would!

I love working at blossom but I do believe that some things do need to be better because I do see a lot of stuff that isn't right but it's not on how the residence are being treated because they do good for 90% of the residence but the employees needs to be a little better on helping each other out because there is no such thing as teamwork with 20% of the employees

We care! I have dedicated 7 years to this nursing home and have seen countless positive effects for our residents. Several residents have come in bed-bound and walked out of our doors to return home – voted best rehab. I have grown from CNA to ADON and experienced a great, loving, and caring team. We strive to provide a home like environment for each of our resides as well as a variety of social activities. Quality care with home comfort!

I am currently an employee at The Blossom’s of Newport and I am truly thankful to be apart of such a great team. Overall, this is one of the best facilities I have worked in. Here at The Blossom’s we are more than just co-workers, but we are a family as well. Our residents are always treated with the upmost respect, compassion, and care.

Doesn't call back for anything, they have their opinion (no proof mind you)I believe that everyone there has done something does anyone not get to state there opinion. And I'm talking about the DON and an RN, and if a resident consider the source get it? Very nice in fact over lots a people I know because! I worked there for four years you would think it would mean a little because I busted it for it. Went home my husband then had surgery and was in the hospital for 8 days no lifting for six months shame on you.

I absolutely love working here. The staff is fantastic and the residents I just love them. This is like my home away from home. I don’t know where I would be with my beautiful second family!!!!
