I had a very bad experience today, just trying to schedule with any provider. They were unprofessional and did not return any phone call. In spite of taking a physical therapy order from my doctor to them and providing all insurance and other information on 5th July in person at their office. No phone call, no message till Tuesday the 9th. After multiple holds and no clarity on who to schedule with. We decided to take our business elsewhere. Years back, Scott Cartwright helped me resolve my pain, so I decided to go back to them. Bad idea. If they can not even manage the scheduling, what else can they manage. I am very upset with how they treated me. If I did not know any better, I would call their mannerism racist.

I was in a lot of pain and now I'm stronger and close to pain free! Dr Ngyuen and the team are knowledgable, professional, caring, and communicative. They listen, hear you, and tailor a treatment plan based on their assessment and your goals.

My intention had been to give the best review of this place imaginable.... but my head is spinning after I was suddenly discharged in my second case. I was going there for 6 months, steadily getting better, then had a bad back spell that left me bed ridden for 3 months. Once I was able to get back to it, my PCP opened a new case so I could get back to how I was. I told my PT last week that I didn't feel like we'd made any improvement on what I was wanting to be improved - the sharp pain in my back wasn't going away. He told me we were going to discuss a more permanent at home program at the next appointment. I didn't understand what that meant until I go in yesterday and turns out I've been discharged. I had JUST told him we hadn't made any improvements I wanted and now I'm being released out of the blue? I thought we were still trying to find what was wrong or what would work - no you know what? I'm every bit as mad as I am sad. I was under instruction from a student for 80% of it and this PT barely assisted me before releasing me with no improvement to my pain. I don't even know if he was listening to me anymore. Not only that but most people get to like sign this big poster and have this cute little graduation exit. But me? Nothing. I spent 6 months there and it feels like I was just shoved out the door. Anne and the front desk staff came to say something to me which was sweet but doesn't make up for how I feel right now. I feel shattered. My back pain is still there but now I don't have PT helping me anymore. I have nothing else to say. It felt kind of like I had a second family there until the last day where I feel like I was practically thrown out and I have no idea why.

I went here for 4.5 months and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for pain relief, especially following an injury or surgery. Justine worked a lot with the teens that were there at the same time as me. She did a great job with them, letting them know what to expect and what to look for, not treating them as little kids nor as experienced adults. Overall, she is respectful. Ann is the kind of person that makes your day better just by being in it. She gives you the feedback you need to continue doing better each visit, but does so in a way that makes you smile. Ben treated me like an intelligent adult from the very first conversation. We talked a little about my medical history and he was able to explain how what I was feeling now can be linked back directly to what I've been through. In the past, doctors have told me that it was just a coincidence and it's just my age causing my aches and pains. The assistants were really helpful. They would walk around from patient to patient and tell us what to do next. They were not only helpful, but they were great about seeking help when needed. If I had any follow-up questions, if they didn't know the answer right away, they'd seek it out for me. Good luck in PT school, Jose! The front office did a great job of working with insurance and letting me know about any issues that came up. They were so wonderful to me when I had to do some canceling and rescheduling because of various sicknesses (and a canceled flight) that happened during my time of being a patient there. Finally, Devin and his interns were my therapists and I can't say enough good things about them. I went from being sore all the time to cleaning up a yard full of branches from the freeze without any reaction. They also me respectfully, listening to me and providing feedback. They would explain why I was doing what I was doing and what to look for as clues that I was ready to move on or take it back a notch. I'm glad that Devin does so much educating because if the next graduating class of PTs were like him, they're going to do great.

I absolutely LOVE coming here. I got a concussion back in January and have had neck pain and headaches ever since. I have been seeing Lisa for only a few weeks now and already feel progress. She's very genuine and listens, even at 7:30 AM!! I left there this morning feeling like I had a new neck! Honestly, I give all the staff members a FIVE star!! The front desk girl is very nice and makes it easy to book appointments with my busy schedule. This location works very well as a team! They make me feel like there is a light at the end of my physical therapy tunnel! I'm confident you will get better at this location!

The staff at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists have been awesome. They're friendly and all are very positive and up beat. Lisa has been very in tune to my needs and my pain level. In all, their kindness and positivity has really made my recovery process a great experience.

My experience with Texas PT Specialists has been great. My therapist is Lisa Z and she is really good. She listens well and explains exactly what is going on with my muscles. This is really important because she helps me see how I am going to get better and move without pain. They are doing a good job keeping patients at least 6 ft apart and keeping the equipment sanitized.

This was the second place I was sent to. The first was a complete waste of time. The difference was night and day. Texas PTS are great! Very friendly and knowledgeable professionals. The facilities are nice and they clean regularly. The doctors there really spend time listening to you, explain their thoughts and treatment plans, and work together with you towards healing. I really have made a lot of progress in just a few sessions and I always look forward to going there. I highly recommend!
