Honestly, I hate bringing my baby here. Got referred by my pediatrician which is why I come here but man, the girls in the front desk are unbelievably rude. Every time I go there I feel so uncomfortable. The manager is also super rude. Last time I made an appointment and asked when the appointment was, the girl in front told me “you’ll get a text” but wouldn’t tell me when. They text a day before so it can be quite inconvenient. Go somewhere else seriously. Therapists are ok but never do much to my baby. Horrible service overall

I took my baby to one appointment here and haven't been back. The office policies are far too rigid. The therapy setting is way too overwhelming and stimulating. I was overwhelmed by the noise and ruckess. I can only imagine how a child feels. I didn't like the lack of confidentiality either - the therapist was talking about my baby in front of other families.

My daughter has had a referral with this company for 2 months and there has been zero communication. I have left multiple messages and always get sent to an answer machine instead of being scheduled. I just left another message to have my disabled daughter evaluated as that hasn't happened yet. I'm thinking of calling to see if we can get a referral some where else because this situation is completely unprofessional. Let's see if they call us back after this third message. I am shocked they treat their new referrals this way especially when quite a few of them are disabled children. We are hoping communication improves soon.

Since my two autistic kiddos started treatment a few months ago, after being on the waitlist for a while, their appointments have been cancelled by Terriokids more times than my kids have been seen. The reception staff are cold and rude. It is next to impossible to get an appointment scheduled at a reasonable time. If we do manage to get an appointment after school, there's still school traffic to get through so there's no way we are getting there early or on time. We were one minute late today and as soon as we walked inside they told us that our appointment was cancelled...after rescheduling many times because the therapist was supposedly sick. I've also witnessed other frustrated moms experience the same things. The only reason Terrio is still in business is because it's the only pediatric OT place in Bakersfield. It's very defeating that there aren't better services available here.

Policies are clearly stated when parents sign paper work. As long as you show up on time or early, there should be no issues. Staff and therapists are friendly and try their best to accommodate as much patients as they can.

Was totally scammed here. They told me at my evaluation that I would pay the rest of my deductible at my first appointment and all following appointment would be $7. At our second appointment they wanted to charge me $68. They refuse to make a billing adjustment for THEIR error and tried to blame the error on my insurance company. My husband is a DPT and Director at another clinic in town, he will NOT be referring out to terrio kids any more.

We arrived ONE minute late, because we had to find socks to put on. ONE minute and they said they couldn't see my daughter. No compassion no empathy. I don't know of a single place that will just terminate a session altogether because of ONE minute. They just lost a client because that's ridiculous.

I’ve been on the “waitlist” for over a year for my daughter and each time I call, I’m informed I’m still on the waitlist. I wish this wasn’t the only pediatric PT that my insurance covers, they seem too busy for us and my daughter desperately needs PT.
