My insurance company approved a referral from my Dr. For physical therapy at Terrio P.T. I called to schedule an appointment. They asked if this is a work related injury. I said its possible as I do have a closed claim ( I'm retired ) with my prior employer. They refused to see me even though I'm not going through my closed claim I'm going through my Insurance company who approved and is paying for this service! They laughed over the phone and said they won't see me! This is very unprofessional as I don't see pain and discomfort as a laughing matter! I wouldn't even leave you 1 star but I had to in order for me to leave this comment!!

These folks don't want new customers apparently. They get my approved referral (24 sessiins) and choose not to contact me. So I contact them and then they tell me my billing codes are wrong. Tell me to call my Dr... Every time I have rec. Therapy the therapist calls. So with these people being so unwilling to help its a wonder they are in business.

I wish I could rate Terrio with 10 stars! I started going to PT back in December 2021 after I slipped and fell in front of the McDonald's on Tucker Rd. I sprained my left LCL (boy, did that ever hurt!). I had never gone to any type of physical therapy before, so this was truly a whole new experience for me. Over the past almost 5 months, I have grown to care SO MUCH for the people who work at Terrio. From the front desk, to the people who work with patients, they are top-notch people all the way. Very knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding, kind, friendly, funny...I could go on and on! They "work" you -- that's their job. They want you to get better. If you do whatever they ask you to do, you will almost assuredly get better. My knee healed and I was able to use it normally again. I kept going to PT because I had shoulder pain in both of my shoulders (that had been going on for 2+ years). Dr. Tarah Steinbach diagnosed me with two separate conditions in my shoulders and developed a PT regimen for me. I didn't say anything to them at first (because I didn't want to be a "complainer"), but I developed such severe neuropathy in my feet (not related to my injury or to my shoulder pain situation -- it's diabetic neuropathy) that I finally had to break down and ask if they could help me do the exercises sitting down instead of standing up. They were SO accommodating and I am very grateful for that. Although doing PT is work, they make it bearable to do it. They never push you further than you can handle, but they want you to reach that next level -- because they know that it will make you better. I don't care for physical therapists being likened to "torturers." They are not torturers. They just do their job of trying to make you better. I try to welcome the harder exercises. That means that they think that I'm making progress and that's a VERY good thing! Thank you to EVERYONE who has helped me along the way these past five months. I usually go to PT on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so these are the people that I see: The doctors (Tarah, Amanda, and George) are SO knowledgeable (not to mention, nice). The physical therapists who I have had the pleasure of working with are Johnny -- who is my main physical therapist (hey there, Johnny!) -- and Karina (happy Friday Junior!). They are just two of the NICEST people you will ever meet. I have met Brittany once or twice and one other guy once whose name I cannot recall off the top of my head (sorry -- I've got an old brain!) and both were very nice, too. [I will come back and edit this once I remember (or hear) his name again.] I watch all of these folks as they interact with the patients. The thing that has impressed me SO much is their kindness to those people who are "more advanced in years." They are always SO kind to them. Not only kind, but encouraging to them. I think that being a physical therapist is probably much harder that we think or realize. First of all, the education that they have had to go through in order to become who they are (especially the doctors), impresses me tremendously! They do (and say) some of the same things a MILLION times per day ("two sets of 20" LOL), but they never act like it bothers them to have to say it -- they do it with a smile on their faces. That is true professionalism. Terrio people, you guys ROCK!!! [Edited to add that Mariana, at the front desk, is awesome! Thank you for everything that you have done! You work hard to make sure everything is scheduled. I appreciate you!]

This facility is nothing short of amazing. Dominique (front desk) made sure to go over ALL the financials with me before my appointment even began. Wonderful staff and my P.T., Erin, is the absolute best. Sooo caring & even educated about my unique health issues. I HIGHLY recommend. I would give ALL the stars in the world if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
