It was definitely a rough beginning for me. We all have our moments. Just pray and give it to God 🙏🏻 But after everything got smoothed out it was good. I have to admit I really enjoyed my stay there. Staff, Nursing, CNA, dietary , laundry, maintenance, and transportation was EXCELLENT! I enjoyed interacting with the residents😁 I really made some close friends that will always be in my heart ❤️ and will always continue to pray for all of you 🛐 Y'all keep up the good work on improving your facility. Sam you've really done a great job in the little time you've been there! I can't wait to come back and see how wonderful y'all have made it for your residents and your employees 🥰 So I would definitely recommend your facility to my friends and family. It has been two weeks shy of a year that my mother in law, Mary, has resided at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab. I want to share how much we appreciate everyone at this facility! Her overall health was poor in the previous facility and we wanted her closer to us. We got a referral from a close friend for this facility and were excited there was a bed opening. They helped so much with the paperwork and greeted her with open arms when she arrived. Within a couple of months we noticed her hair was thickening and her appetite had increased to get some much needed weight gain. Her skin went from dry to hydrated and so soft. Her nails were also improving and she was walking! With every visit we noticed her happy, dressed properly and hair always in some cute style. It is so nice to get calls from the nursing staff with their noticed concerns. The business office is so easy to work with and we appreciate the quarterly meetings that focus on her all around care. We know it was the best decision we could have made for her and highly recommend this facility for your loved one!. Mary is just happy and living her best life. Michelle and BA

I just wanted to give you some feedback from yesterday from the Fall Festival you hosted! We were the Scentsy booth! This probably was one of the smoothest & well attended events I have been to for a mid day week event. Set up was smooth. People showed up. They shopped. Kids played! So much time & energy was put into this event! You could tell it was a labor of love! The outcome was worth it! The kids had fun. Parents didn't look overwhelmed. Everyone had a great time!!! We will come back if you do it again. If you'll have us!

This facility is so wonderful! The company knows how to treat their people, from residents to staff members! Their administration provides a very welcoming environment, they are there to assist with all your needs! I couldn't ask for a better facility and team to take care of my loved ones.

I'm glad I came to the facility for therapy. The facility and staff are great and have helped me to get back home. Facility is clean, staff is very good. I'm thankful I've done well and heading home.

I love the staff here. I have been a resident since 2009. I enjoy the activities that are offered. The food is good. The staff is always willing to help. I don't won't to go to another facility Patricia Waterman

Terrible play. Dirty and smells. Way under staffed. My father was to be feed and they just brought his food and set it in front of him and he couldn't feed his self so they basically starved him to death . He entered hospis February 1st and died on the 11th.

I've spent 8 months and 8 day's at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility this was a very big adjustment for me. But series of falls put me here yes I will admit I hate therapy even the word I want to cringe .But they was very patient with me that took alot but finally put my mind to it if I didn't do therapy or even try I'd never be going home that was my plan the nurses that were in my care of taking care of me was very patient and understanding no you can't know my pain trust me I wouldn't want you too. The staff from Social Service to business Office were so very helpful and the explain everything so you do understand the transportation Dept very friendly and make sure your safe while be transported to anywhere the kitchen staff are friendly Jenny and Shelia pass out our drinks happy singing cut up with you the cooks are great yeah some things I didn't care for but they make sure they are healthy diets activities was loads of fun Samantha kept it interesting for sure but I'd highly recommend your loved one or family member for staying long or short term
