My husband was in a few months ago and as said below waited 5 hours while a doctor was playing chess. I was afraid to go but I had to go to ER and expecting the worst had 5 star care. Dr Goiliko, nurseKatelin, Paige tech, ultrasound tech, admitting, and Mike, someone who volunteers, makes the patient feel safe and I even saw him dusting. I wish everyone who goes to the ER can the quality staff I had

Place and people are useless. Emergency room doesn't seem like it. They don't care. They don't rush. Don't worry getting xrays done is more emergent than anything.

Was told ten days ago when I got my stitches, to come back to have them taken out. Came back and waited over an hour for what was said to be a five second ordeal before someone came to tell me it would be a few minutes later. Another hour goes by and I have not seen for my FOUR stitches. And was told I needed to wait a few more minutes. I was charged for a service I didn't get because I didn't have another two hours to sit and wait for a simple procedure to be done. I understand patient priority but the lack of communication was what made this so horrid. So here I am, still have the stitches, wasted two and half hours of my life to be told I could file a complaint online. Over it. Be honest, if people have to wait an eternity for a si.ple procedure then tell them don't waste my time and money.

My husband is elderly and suffers from several issues. We haven’t had to access services for a year and half, but previous to this my husband was for two years every 3 months he was in the ER and subsequently several times admitted to the hospital. He has always received excellent care and they care about the family.

I may be a little late for this review but I must post it. Unfortunately I had to be at the infusion unit for 9 months, three days a week starting in August of 2020 through the end of March, 2021. FORTUNATELY, The infusion unit is filled with top notch nurses, equipment and professionalism. What TMH was able to offer me was just as good as going to a big city for the same treatment. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would love to be able to tell all patients that our little town provides the best care. I was saved from having to drive to St. Louis three days a week. I trust TMH with my life.

My wife was admitted to the ER for some problems. Dr. Munoz and Nurse Elmo made her feel comfortable in a time when feeling anxious, they had a very easy conversation style and were very thorough in the diagnosis stage. We were very thankful they were there to care for her.

Waited over 6 hrs for blood results. Nothing serious but they could of called with results. No wonder this hospital is drying up. And no I am not contacting anyone about this last experience this hospital will ever get from us. If I get a bill sent to me you will get one back for the cost of me sitting and waiting. My time is as chargeable as yours......

Three of us with fevers sore throats and flu symptoms and along with a 4 hour wait time we kept getting bumped for other patients...one was a teen with an ice pack on his knee while playing on his phone. Ant the wait time was just to get into a room. Then we are told there is a shortage of flu tests so go home and use fluids and see our doctors...i demand to be treated so they said they would testnone of us...and I asked about the sore throat for strep...nope Dr didn't order that. I said that my doctor sent me there to be tested.. another incident- my bp was 186/110 with headache nausea heaviness in limbs and chest pain. I have an aortic thorasic aneurysm in my ascending aortic arch and i was told your not having a heart attack and they said see your doctor and sent me home. I said why the symptoms...he said i don't know but we're sending you home. I ended up in ER several more times with same symptoms with Same outcome. Same doctor. Overweight gray haired guy with a skin condition... worst doctor EVER. I even had a nurse come in when i came by ambulance with kidney stones and told me to be more quiet- i was in severe pain- i had no pain meds, no call button or blanket and ended up having surgery to blast the stones. Memorial is responsible for my father's death and also has a law suit pending for a school mate's death. I repeatedly had communications with higher " ups" to rectify their horrible service. Although they reported to me that my dad was having a GOOD day-to-day something told me to Go in. I arrived to find him soaking wet, tangled in the cords, crying, no blanket or anything on him and he's always freezing, laying sideways across the bed in his own filth, no call button, his tray across the room by the window not eaten ( he's diabetic) and his table with phone and remote across room. He said when i wasnt there they were very rough with him. And this wasnt the only incident. Horrible hospital with worse people. Go to St. JOHN'S. They are incredible! Night and day.
