Taos Physical Therapy

This was my first experience with a physical therapist as I always feel independent and healthy enough to solve my own problems. But After living in pain for 3 weeks with a perceived hamstring pull, I decided to seek help. Alicia is very matter of fact, decisive and physically capable of performing the needed maneuvers and stretching. She is passionate about what she does and it shows. My problem was more complicated than I had been thinking and after an hour, I was already feeling better. The next day is even better…I wish I had gone to Alicia earlier and saved 3 weeks of misery and no sleep.

Dear friends at Taos Physical Therapy, I am sending this letter as a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you there. Your therapy center, the attitude of ALL the people working there and the help I received were a BIG bright spot in my healing journey, after breaking my femur and my hand while traveling in Spain. I want to particularly compliment both Alicia and Katie who worked with me twice a week for eight weeks. What I appreciated so much was their creativity with exercises to help me reach my goals in healing. They were also very encouraging when things were not easy and persistent as well. I was in Taos recently for a few weeks and experiencing significant back discomfort. In three visits, I was able to learn a stretching and strengthening program that I can do anywhere and noticed improvement in my symptoms. The physical therapists are thorough and careful in their assessments, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and provide tailored plans to fit each person's needs. I felt confident in their care and glad to have a plan that will help me recover safely and steadily. The front office team members are professional and cordial. COVID protocols are enforced here, and it's a safe environment. Many thanks to Taos Physical Therapy for helping me with a plan to get better.
