Tahoe Laser and Performance Therapy

I was training for my first endurance challenge this summer. I used the Novothor whole body light pod while I was training. This was incredibly useful throughout my training. I was able to train for 5 months, injury free. I also noticed that I felt much stronger in my workouts directly following a session. Would definitely recommend. Gabe also makes it in red easy to schedule and fit sessions in on your time.

The NovaThor light bed is an incredible tool for recovery (and prep) for big runs!! Having completed Rim2Rim2Rim on the Grand Canyon, I was looking for the right accompaniment to aid in recovery once back home in Truckee. The immediate day following the run was a little rough (barking quads!) however after my first session in the NovaThor bed, I could already tell a difference… I had a number of 15 min treatments in a row, every other one of them was followed by a “recovery run” and I’m now feeling great! For my next big adventure run like this, I’m planning on subscribing to the month unlimited package so I can use the bed prior to the run and then again for the week following. Highly recommend !

Gabe is great! With PT I’ve found, you get what you pay for and often times, what your insurance covers, isn’t always the best outcome. You can have the best surgical experience but if your PT experience is poor, your outcome and speed of recovery can be limited. I was happy to pay out of pocket to get the more hands on care Gabe provides. I think it helped me recover quicker and get back to my sports stronger. My surgeon has been impressed with my quick recovery. I’ve worked with Gabe for corrective work, as well as post op rehab. He spends an hour of hands on time with you making sure all your questions, pains and concerns are addressed. He provides patients with an easy to use app with videos of you doing the prescribed exercises so your at home work is easy. Gabe is very knowledgeable of at home devices/tools that can help with recovery, he also has some high tech devices in office (lasers and novothor) that can help improve your therapy and overall recovery. Gabe is also very active in many of the outdoor activities Tahoe people love (skiing, mountain biking, climbing, etc). He’s well aware of the stresses and demands that the sports we love exert on the body and what is required for peak performance. I like how Gabe incorporates aspects of both western and eastern medicine into his treatment. It’s apparent he’s always looking for the best possible modalities to help his patients achieve their goals. Excellent results using the NovoThor light bed between consecutive long, hard trail efforts. Super-easy self-service scheduling and access made it so that I really utilized the service over a period of one month between a 48-mile Grand Canyon adventure and a 50-mile trail race.
