TAG Physical Therapy Inc

I have been a patient for several different rehabs over numerous years at different South Bay PT clinics. TAG is simply the best. It is a smaller facility that's been around for a long time. Their therapists are both skilled and knowledgeable and very personable.

I've been coming to TAG for a while now and would highly recommend going there for physical therapy. The staff are pretty knowledgeable, professional and everything works smoothly. Most importantly they care!! I can't emphasize that enough. My go to person has been Andrew and he's helped me get through many injuries. This'll probably make it more difficult to book appointments with him but it is well deserved.

These are some of the most skilled physical therapists in Los Angeles. They have saved several of my friends from having shoulder surgeries, knee surgeries and have helped through four of my friends with back pain that no one else could help with. I personally have gone to them for multiple injuries related to sports and on every occasion have gotten better really quickly. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

OMG! This place is awesome. Laura was great and pinpointed my issues and really helped reduce my pain level. Everyone was friendly and great to work with. Don't look any further just call TAG.

TAG PT has helped me so much! This may sound like hyperbole, but really, TAG helped change my life for the better. They've helped me with my low back, my neck, and my shoulders. What's been super helpful is that they educated me and helped me understand the details of what we were working on so that I could continue stretching and strengthening exercises on my own. That has been gold during this pandemic. So grateful for you at TAG!

NOT Recommended as they only use a Licenced Physical Therapist [PT] for HALF the TIME you BOOK FOR. The other half they use UNTRAINED in ANY medical field, and especially PT, COLLEGE STUDENTS (Very Low Cost, so MAKES MORE $ for the Two Owners !!!). Facility is Dark and Dungy (In OLD INDUSTRIAL AREA next to ARCO Refinary You can SMELL !) and Lacks Natural Light and seem VERY OLD. A large room w/LOTS of Patients and COLLEGE STUDENTS doing PT in VERY CLOSE PROXIMITY to EACH OTHER. ADD, that even the PT I had were thinking of herself as an MD and started diagnosing symptoms she had NO KNOWLEDGE of, and even contacted MY PCP to raise her concerns w/o my Permission or Request. Created LOTS of Back and Forth between her and Staff at my PCP's office and me, which caused me to WASTE 3.5 hours (!) to clean up, TIME I DID NOT HAVE. When I raised this the last issue w/ them, including the Two Owners who came up to me and told me NOT to COME BACK. I told them I have had PT for +25 years and never had this done/happen to me. Their Response: "You never had GOOD PT before then!", lol ! STAY AWAY, Lives of OLD REPUTATION, and is just a $$$ MAXIMIZING operation at this point (Older Owners, two women living in Manhattan Beach).

This is my second experience with Physical Therapy, although this time around it was for a different issue than last time. I have a deductible for my health insurance and was specifically told that I would be paying out of pocket. The company told me one price, which I paid, and then proceeded to bill my insurance company anyway. They KNEW I have a deductible so there would be NO coverage from the insurance company and they charged me TWICE as much when going through the insurance company as I was charged at the time of my visits. They claim that they were estimating my benefits and were waiting to get the information back from my insurance company before reconciling the billing- IF THEY ALREADY KNEW I HAVE A DEDUCTIBLE THEN THEY ALREADY KNEW THE INSURANCE WASN'T GOING TO PAY ANYTHING!!! Basically, this company has used a bait & switch for their billing and have charged me double what they said the treatments would cost. They've essentially lied to my face and I cannot do business with, not recommend a place like this to others. If you have full coverage, then maybe it's for you... any thing else, I'd find someplace that isn't as shady. p.s. I have called and talked to their billing manager and was offered only lies- no refund (of course).
