Whoever is the manager of this place better change the way they set up the system there in Tabitha. I am speaking for all of those later workers that work very hard for the people in the building. There in a Tabitha are not enough workers to maintain all residents in a good enough environment. Manager in charged of this place better change all of this. How in the world can people take care of elders without enough staff? Lifting, feeding, cleaning for them and what 2 people only?? Do better Head office of Tabitha.😠

Great place to work. We have several staff with family members here and I would send my family members confidently here as well. In today’s healthcare world it’s hard to find a well-run, established, trustworthy place with so many care options.

My dad had a horrible experience. The nurses were kind. My father recently passed. He was in tabitha for 2 and 1/2 months for rehab. I asked several times for him to see the doctor (they told us we had to use their doctor). I kept asking why is he getting weaker. Asked for mri asked if we could get a nero apt. After 2 months finally their doctor came in and did xrays, and got ortho apt. Went to ortho they finally set up for mri. Before that could happen my dad lost use of his arms. He requested to be sent by ambulance to bryan. Where they did mri. And got nero. They took biopsy of muscle and found he had Necrotizing autoimmune myopathy. From cholesterol meds. Unfortunately he passed a week 1/2 later. I feel they should have acted quicker when they knew things were getting worse. They didnt listen to my requests. I would not ever put another family member in tabitha. That and I had to do constantly stay on top of the social workers to do their job with insurance.

This place is constantly under staffed. Residents fall constantly there has been a broken arm and a broken back due to falls. Aides are not following state guidelines for transferring patients. When the state investigators came to survey we were all told what answers to give if they stopped us for a interview. The nursing supervisor Mindy had me write down on a piece of paper every question the state worker asked me during the interview and what my answers were and give it to her because all of management was on a group chat while the investigator was there so they would text the questions to each other and have time to tell the aides what to expect and what to answer. I was very uncomfortable and I will be reporting to the state what I was asked to do.

Tabitha home care came into my home today because I have a broken leg. The physical therapist asked to see my medications that were in another room. I told her no. She asked again to see my meds. Very strange This physical therapist then started taking pictures with her phone of my private information. Then I was told I was not cooperative and they were not going to help me. I hope they don’t use my personal information in a bad way.

My mom needed a doctor's appointment to address a medical concern, but was told I could not take her to her doctor without losing her insurance covering the appointment, the reasoning: she was a resident of Tabitha (apparently US law ends at their doors). When checking out of the facility we were not provided with the medication she needed (so, what are they doing with the meds prescribed for her? ),, would not contact her doctors for the meds she needs, we needed the help of at- home Nurses to figure out what the hell is wrong with them. I now know why Madonna is respected, tabitha is an 18th-century low-quality shack w/o respect for the people they're supposed to care for.

As the wife I was not allowed to be with my husband during his evaluation the nurse demanded I leave the room. No family member should be treated like that! Medication was not given on time. Therapy gave an exercise instruction then type on their computer, another exercise more typing. At least half of every therapy session was spent typing. We would not recommend Tabitha and will never be back!

Our social worker Amber is amazing always there to answer all our concerns and questions. Has always returned our phone calls. She went above and beyond for our dad did all the calling to the VA. We honestly can't say enough good things about her. All the staff has been very friendly and helpful and has shown great professionalism. My husbands father is very happy there. Thanks to all!!!
