I called October 23, 2024 to cancle my upcoming appointment, I was number five in line. After over fourteen minutes and being number one in line for receptionists the phone was disconnected on their side. So I called again. It is now 3:52pm. I went from number seven in line to number three in line after being on hold for eight minutes. Again I got to number one and was disconnected. The phone service is terrible. Poor service. I am back to number one. This is where the system hung up on me before. They hung up on me again! I called back and seeing no other option I chose to leave a message with the care coordinator telling them was hung up on twice and apologizing that I had to use the care coordinators number because the other line for making and canceling appointments was hanging up on me . I then called the appointment number again after leaving a message with the care coordinator. This is my Third time calling. Once Again I am currently number 2 in line seven more minutes waiting and again on the third call I got to number one in line and was disconnected. Terrible service

Truly incompetent staff that needs additional training in Medical Ethics. My mother has been frequenting this location for several months now. During her recent visit Dr. Michael Lucius displayed unprofessional behavior. Based on reading previous reviews I can see that others have had unpleasant experiences with Dr. Michael Lucius so this is an ongoing trend for this Dr. BE WARY!! When my mother was seen by Dr. Michael Lucius she informed him that she was still experiencing pain despite several treatments, he laughed abruptly in her face. Even after she expressed to him that his behavior was unacceptable, he continued to laugh even louder. When my mother requested a translator, the translator selectively translated her words and did not convey her exact message, hindering effective communication with the doctor. Patients seek medical care to be understood and supported, yet today my mother was neither heard or seen. It is disappointing that in an area like Eastlake, with a significant Spanish-speaking demographic, the translation services were inadequate. When we requested to speak with the manager, the office manager showed no willingness to address or acknowledge my mother's concerns. This lack of responsiveness further exacerbated the situation. Laughing at a patient's pain is unacceptable in any medical setting, it is unacceptable and should never have to be tolerated. I find such behavior appalling and completely contrary to the compassionate care that patients deserve. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone seeking competent and professional medical care.

So, I went to this place and I have to worse experience. First I was in so much pain and they don't care because they don't believe in pain medication, the doctor had no empathy and even asked me if I wanted the surgery or not, what kind of question is that your the one with the degree. As soon as I asked for a second option they called me to get off their calling list!! looking for a better doctor.

I was referred here by my health insurance. I came with EMG test results that were ordered by a neurologist in Ensenada Mexico at the best hospital in the city. I told Dr. Pomerantz it was too difficult to find a neurologist to perform one in LA with my limited health plan, which was unfortunately true. Dr Pomerantz proceeded to tell me that it's easy to get an EMG, and made faces like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about. I found him to be extremely arrogant and disrespectful. This doctor needs some life experience and to realize that people from all walks of life get cross border medical care, especially in Southern California. Mexican healthcare doesn't have chickens running through the office or doctors wearing sombreros. My last job in San Diego even offered a Mexican health insurance plan called SIMSNA. My primary doctor realizes this, and sent me to this office based on the EMG results I had. Time to grow up and stop making faces and remarks to patients because they saw a brown doctor. Not recommended. I would never trust someone like this with my hands.

I liked my Doctor a lot initially however it had been a nightmare. They never return your calls and my Doctor was always out on vacation or not available. I was supposed to have surgery on both hands and had my first one in October with 2 surgeries on my left hand. I went for my post op and told the Doctor i still had some issues that were minimized. I called and stayed in communication with them on my part but no one returned my call. I tried scheduling an appointment and was told I could not because I missed 2 appointments, 1 of which I didn't even make. I spoke to the office manager at length and he was supposed to get back to me. It's been over a month and 4 additional urgent msg and nothing. The most unprofessional staff and Doctors i have ever seen. Now i have to start the process all over but with additional complications from the surgery i had with them. Guess i should have gone in office eegardkess if the dact i had covid .

Thank God I decided to go to Synergy. I was having pain in my knee and at Urgent care they were not even examining my knee anymore, they kept telling me to use ice and the swelling would go away and take ibuprofen for pain for about 3 weeks. I decided to go to Synergy Orthopedics. Dr Chadha did a complete examination on my knee and right away noticed that something was wrong and asked for a MRI. Dr Chadha placed me off work right away and requested that I start Physical Therapy. Thank God he was knowledgeable about the situation and I started noticing the improvement after 2 weeks. Please do not waste your time at any urgent care, if you have a similar problem call Synergy right away and get the treatment needed for a speedy recovery. You do have to wait a little when you go to the office but it is worth it. Thank you Dr. Chadha and the entire staff.

Horrible experience, the receptionist doesn’t know how to manage or talk to clients and the care cordinator for Dr Chhada never takes the calls just there is a voicemail which says we will contact you within 48hrs 🤷🏻♂️. And she never calls back. Trying to get in touch with the cordinator from a week now. I would suggest people not to book any surgery at synergy orthopedics.

I had my surgery 9 days ago. Dr. Selecky is great and the surgery went well! I have no complaints about him or the operation. His care cordinator, Lelian Ocampo on the other hand is a different story. She is very unreliable and unprofessional. She never answers and doesn’t return phone calls. In the beginning, she replied to my emails, but later on it took days to get a response and then she stopped responding entirely. The day before my surgery I sent her an e-mail and called and left a message to confirm my appointment and to see if she received all the necessary documents. I didn’t receive a response until I called the appointment line and told them how upset I was to not hear back. The worst thing was that my surgery appointment was changed from 1:45pm to 11:00am and she didn’t even bother to update me of the change. I only found out on the day of my surgery when the surgery center called me to ask why I was not there yet. If Lelian Ocampo is designated as your care coordinator, request a new one. There’s no point in having her as your care coordinator if she can’t even do whats required for her job. I’m very upset and disappointed!
