Sutter Urgent Care - Turlock

Staff was kind, thorough, and patient with my sick child. I deeply appreciated their care. I was nervous for the strep test but the nurse was so quick and gentle that the test did not phase my toddler! I was so impressed! Thank you both, nurse and Dr Steven, for your care!

Check in was quick. I had a very short wait before being called back. The nurse was very pleasant and thorough and professional. I was very comfortable with her. The doctor was spot on…explained everything and made a plan. All in all it was an easy and comfortable prompt care visit and my problems were addressed and all the care was appropriate.

Every experience I’ve had with them has been terrible. 1) First urgent care visit had the doctor spend more time complaining about the quality of their computer mouse than actually looking at my ear. 2) Primary care visits for new patients have a 4-6 month wait time. Halfway into that time the doctor I was scheduled with left the practice, so now I have to wait another 4-6 months. 3) My insurance provides free preventative care lab tests each year and my second urgent care visit had samples taken. They weren’t coded correctly and I was charged $400+. Their administrative staff is some of the worst in the business and appeals take months.

Front desk held me over 19 minutes even though she had my drivers license she misspelled my name and couldn’t find my name through insurance company. I have 2 PPO BLUE CROSS insurance . Secondly she asked about my race which is not legal to ask . In addition I was in the room for 47 minutes before doctor visited me. He was extremely nice doctor and apologized , BTW when I went to the urgent care at 8:46 Am there were only 3 others there. Ps . My wife is part of Sutter family . Regards

Check in when I got there was the best! Diana was very friendly and estimated a wait time to see the Dr as 90 min and explained all my paperwork to me! Well about 15 min later I got called back and a nice young man named Carlos took all my vitals and asked what was going on and said the Dr would be in to see me in a few minutes. 15 min later the Dr came in and asked me how I was feeling and what had brought me into the urgent care and I told him my issue and he said he would take some blood and told me what to eat cuz I told him I had nausea for 3 days already. He said he would call me back with the results of the blood work which he did about 5 pm and everything was normal except for my kidney function was a little low to drink plenty of fluids and if I needed to come back with the same symptoms then get back into the urgent care. The total time from check in to leaving was about 1 hour and the best costumer service and the place was very clean!

This location has a long wait every time. I was called quickly but left in a room for over an hour b4 Dr came in. Dr was blah..no personality..all Dr's seem to pay more attention to typing what u say versus actually listening n helping u. It s always generic responses w generic attention given yet they make that bank each time. The doctors at this facility in ALL depts are the same...some are arrogant and others have zero personality. They all make terrific money but are horrible to see. ...Plus what they charge for visit..the medical field is a legal scam

Called to ask about walk in for a 2 hour glucose lab, advised to come early when the lab opens at 645. I arrived at 735 and was told I won’t be able to check in until 8 … Sutter labs need to get it together. I drive 30 minutes for the nearest lab and 45 minutes for the only lab in my area that allows scheduling and isn’t always booked out a week and a half. Information I receive never seems accurate and I never get the same information twice. I love Sutter but HATE the lab services. Kaiser was WAY better. I am beyond frustrated with the lab services and hope to return to kaiser at the soonest possibly.

I recently received care for a injured thumb. I received excellent care from Sutter Health. Their entire staff from check in to doctor and nurse were friendly and caring people. I highly recommend them.
