I came her to get help for pain on my lower back, staff is always friendly and helpful with a clean environment. My physical therapist was Roya and she has helped me so much. On top of that Roya was so kind to me and asking about school etc and giving me wonderful advice that I’m young and to reach for the stars. She even let me have my appointment even though I was 15 minutes late which was really kind. If this review gives her some Recognition that would be wonderful.

A pleasure to come here for my physiotherapy. All the staff is extremely friendly and kind, and the facilities are very well covid-adapted, clean and have a lot of instruments. Thank you! There are also plenty of spots for parking right outside, and the timetable is broad to adapt your needs. Highly recommended.

I don't have a problem with the staff or quality of therapy. However, if you can't get to see a physical therapist in a timely manner, I'm not sure what good having quality staff and services do you. So, although Sutter pruports to provide PT to its patients, in my experience I have questions about whether Sutter gets the part about having to deliver the medical services. In my experience I feel Sutter does not seem to realize or value timeliness in the delivery of this important medical service. Also based on my experience, I feel they have a one-sided and very strict policy on being on time which I will discuss in this post. Although I am not a licensed physical therapist, as a lay person, it seem, at least to me, obvious that one is typically been referred to PT because of a significant enough physical problem pertaining to pain, impairment of mobility, etc. You are sent to PT because you have a physical problem that won't resolve itself on its own - like a bruise or a pulled muscle. As I have stated earlier, typical PT problems usually don't warrant, nor do I expect next day service. On the other hand, if you are being referred to physical therapy, one would thing the condition warrants a timely response. Based on my long term experience with Sutter, it takes way, way, way too long to get an appointment. It took me over two weeks to get an appointment after following up on my referal. To their credit, the Sutter Davis PT staff did their best to work me in an as soon as they could. But it raisese the question of whether a referal should be made to physicial therapy in the first place, if you can wait three weeks? Based on my long experience with Sutter PT, I question whether Sutter has any recognition that physical therapy is an important medical service. I get that vibe whenever I deal with Sutter PT. And I have had experience with another of their PT centers as well and have had the same scheduling problems.. The other problem I have with Sutter, is their one-sided appointment policy which they don't inform you about until after the fact. In my latest attempt to get timely treatment after having to wait over two weeks for an appointment I was maybe 10 minutes or so late for my appointment. When I got there, they informed me that there was not enough time to be seen and I would have to reschedule. Now many is the time I have showed up on time for a PT appointment and had to wait well over 15 minutes to see my therapist. (Again, I don't have a complaint with the quality of the treatment, just that it is difficult to get it a timely manner). I feel, based on my experience, that Sutter's one-sided rule that you as a patient have to be strictly on time but we, Sutter, can be as late as we please, I was not informed in advance of what the cutoff time was. Hey, I'll take some responsiblity for being late. But at least let me know what the one-side rules are and what the cutt-off time is. So what happened? They couldn't see me. They offered me o their one and only appointment which was the next day but at a time I couldn't make. I feel Sutter should consider that patients can't always build their life around the "one time" Sutter has an opening. The next appointment they had was over a little over two weeks in the future. They also said the Alhambra Sutter PT was very booked up. At this point, and based on long experience with Sutter PT, I have no confidence they can treat my condition. I have concerns and questions - not accusations - as to whether or not they can actually provide quality PT and whether they have sufficient staffing to do so. I did decide to request that the state investigate whether Sutter is adequately staffed and is providing timely PT medical treatment. I did try to contact the Sutter ombudsman but I couldn't navigate the maze of Sutter and find one.

I have had several visits for a variety of health issues. PT here is never crowded, no long waiting, and the therapists have the patience of Job. This facility gets 5 stars and a + sign to add on. This one rocks!

I had to wait over 20 minutes for my appt and although the hand therapist was thorough, much of the information, for example, recommended exercises, is easy to find on the web. I paid $527 for about 45 minutes which to me is ridiculous.
