Sutter Medical Foundation Physical Therapy

This place is AWESOME! Everyone is nice and helpful and they really know their stuff! I went in with a frozen shoulder and didn't have full range of motion. Sean showed me what exercises to do and I worked on the exercises both in the office and at home and I steadily improved. I HIGHLY recommend this place for physical therapy!

I was scheduled for physical therapy starting November 21, 2023 all through January 2024. A week before my first appointment, I had to call them to reschedule because on November 21 I will have to be miles and miles away (and not for Thanksgiving travel) at the same time of my appointment --and it is out of my hands. I was explained that they did not have any way to reschedule; not only, cancelling the first appointment for the evaluation would automatically cancel all the others scheduled. I did not cancel, they told me they would see if something could be done. Today is November 17, 2023. I called them again because Tuesday 21 is just around the corner. They said that there is no way to reschedule. Again, I was warned that cancelling would automatically cancel all other appointments. They explained that next spot for physical therapy will be at the end of January 2024. They were also very kind to explain that next week they will have two employees on vacation, that at the beginning of January two other employees will go on maternity leave. They candidly said they are understaffed. Now, while I am not going to comment about the experience --or I should say the non-experience, I am left wondering: If miss my first appointment for evaluation, why can't the evaluation be done on the second appointment I scheduled? Also, the phisical therapist assigned to me is a man --I guess no pregnacies there. I called my doctor and asked to send the referral someplace else.

Very lacking in having a full range of physical Therapy tools. They do not have tens or heat Therapy. Alexa lacking knowledge in latest techniques for treatment of lower back pain. Had to terminate my treatments after only 1 session. Worst pt facility in Yuba City.

Discrimanatory staff. Had my mother go in for an appointment and was refused a translator by both medical staff and the residing doctors. Eventually one of the bilingual speakers came into the room and offered to translate. Even then the translator was being shooed out of the appointment of the doctor and told to "stop."

I have been going here for various things for a loooong time now and everyone here goes out on a limb to be nice and always helpful. Everyone here is so nice you cannot help but like them all, Good people, every one of them..

I went in a broken woman and I thought I was hopeless. I can't believe I got my life back with the help of everyone at Sutter North Physical Therapy. Wow. Just wow.

I loved going to my OT here for my wrist. Now I will go my PT. They are great and friendly.
