Superior Health and Rehab

My aunt needed Short term rehab & they provided excellent services. Everyone was so friendly, from the housekeeping staff to the therapists. I felt like my aunt was safe & cared for by the best!

They treat employees and residents poorly, especially on the weekends when there is no management to oversee that patients are getting good treatment. I makes me fear every being place in a nursing facility. It is nice looking in from the outside,not really knowing what goes on within the walls. I quit working there and no longer wanted to be a part of it.

I love this facility and the dedication of my staff. I have been an Adm. in my community for 38 years. My department heads have over 100 years of long term care service and many of those with me. I love this place so much that I have brought my own mother, two uncles, and an aunt for care. I have an uncle who currently is a resident here. It is a unique opportunity to be able to care for my friends parents as well. Unfortunately, people get mad when the bar is high and they cannot perform and are fired OR quit. There are issues about people who want to post bad reviews relating to themselves. They are not posting the entire story and many times these reviews have multiple accounts for the same person. As the Adm I understand we are not always a perfect fit for everyone that's why there are other facilities to chose from. Many time those that are complaining do not tell in the review that their family is still here. Thank you to all who take time to allow people to see what we are really trying to do. It is our passion to take care of the elderly.

My mom has been in this facility for a little over 2 yrs. The caregivers in this facility are so good to my mom. They take such good care of her and I love that anytime they come in they say things like “I love you” or “what can I do for you” to my mom. They treat her with such affection and dignity! Lisa in particular is always a presence and is always there to answer questions, support my family as well as show compassion. I am beyond grateful for how this group of professionals are caring for my mom and am rest assured that she is receiving the best of care.

My mother has been a resident of Superior for more than a year. She is well taken care of. My family and I visit her a couple of times a week and have always gotten very responsive support from the staff. Superior is a good choice for our family and has exceeded our expectations for care, staff involvement, and facility upkeep.

This place looks like a 4 star hotel on the outside and even inside.. but what you don’t know is what goes on behind closed doors. If you don’t visit your family member often, they won’t get the care they deserve. The facility won’t staff an appropriate amount of CNAs/ Nurses to ensure that every resident gets proper care. Your family member will be lucky to be cleaned and changed twice in a 12 hour shift due to lack of staff. The poor staff are running constantly trying to accommodate. Shame on this place for doing this to patients and staff members. I have heard other patients and their family members constantly complain that it’s not fair to them that their needs are not being met due to improper staffing. I’m so glad I visited a long time family friend before placing my mother there.

Please do not bring your loved ones to this place . The ADMINISTRATOR is very unprofessional. I walk through the halls and smell urine from residents' diapers not being changed. It's very sad. SO if you love your family do not bring them here 🚫🚫 not to mention the older gentleman I help tht just left there last Tuesday is back in the hospital 2 days later because they didn't care enough to help him (give him fluids/ help him eat) he's been severely dehydrated and his levels are very low . But now he'd in good hands at the hospital. Shame on you superior like seriously shame on you!

I had an excellent experience with my dads stay at Superior. He was in rehab and then transitioned to long term care. The office staff and administration were all very helpful to our whole family. I felt like they partnered with me and helped me with every step of the process. The nursing and support staff is excellent! They truly care about the resident and know each resident and their needs/likes/dislikes....they really make an effort to KNOW them. Yes they provide excellent nursing care as well. One can tell the employees are happy and want to work there. I felt they went over and beyond for my dad. I highly recommend Superior.
