Sun Rise Rehab Physical Therapy

I have been to both sunrise rehab therapy locations. I prefer Greenbelt because it’s more private for the session. Going here for physical therapy was great for a while I went on and off 2023-2024 for pain management did my neck and back. I recently stopped going because of several things that is why this is a three star review: 1. Bed side manner needed improvement from the doctor who does the initial examination. 2. Lack of professionalism at times, I don’t believe as a doctor you should be having full on personal conversations during my paid sessions with the assistants. 3. When doing the new laser treatment sometimes it was extremely too hot or the ball rolling seemed very rough whenever applied directly to my skin. When the female doctor did it she was gentle. I felt more pain than relief after this session with the male doctor that does the initial examination. 4 Quality of service decreased over time. Sometimes I thought stimulators were on and after 15 minutes I ring the bell to tell them I do not feel anything. I never had this problem last year but this year it seemed like the staff and doctor was not always paying attention. Sunrise therapy is not a bad place to go but I would advise to do short term care instead of long term.

I visit this place for my finger. Dr. Mahmood is very nice. He takes his time with the patient. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean.

I injured my sciatic nerve in September 2020 lifting and throwing wet sod on my lawn. The pain was severe from my lower back to my right knee. I couldn't sleep on my right side, nor could I sit in a chair for long periods. I was walking with the help of a cane. The pain and discomfort just dominated my thoughts and made me miserable. I contacted Sun Rise and scheduled an appointment. Upon arrival, my temperature was taken and I started PT. I was told recovery could be a long, drawn out process. Having experienced sciatica in the past, I agreed with the assessment. It took me about 6 weeks to fully recover. During that time, I experienced false "recoveries" and endured setbacks of my own making. But I stuck to the program and am now pain and medication free. Thanks to the staff who made my visits enjoyable. They are very professional and encouraging.

Sun RIse Rehab is one of the best places around Soon as I stepped foot in the Door my first day they have good Customer Service Skill very friendly never waiting long after you sign in and also they have condiment for you as well keep up the great job in all yall do. Thank Yall
